We exit the club as Ryan pulls up. We all get in since no one brought their cars and well, Ryan offered to come to get us. I get dropped off first and I rush to my apartment.
Getting in and locking my door I walk to my bedroom kicking my heels off.
I strip and get into my pink pajamas before collapsing on my bed.
I wake up to the sudden urge to throw up. Running to the bathroom and flipping the toilet seat up I pour all my contents. A few minutes later I stand up to myself feeling nauseous. I brush my teeth to get the awful breath off my mouth. I wash my face taking off last night's makeup.
I sigh as I get back to my bedroom to check who is calling. Mia.
"Hey, am at your door and you ain't opening up. Are you with someone?" She asks and knowing her she is wriggling her eyebrows.
"You are the wrong door, Mia. I told you for a thousand times, it's 105, not 115." I sigh walking to the door unlocking it.
"Ooh, my bad. I think I forgot." She says.
"You said that last time!" I yell.
"Stop yelling at me. I can hear you from up here!" She yells back and I disconnect the call.
I make my way to the kitchen but the doorbell goes off and I walk back opening the door.
"You look like shit." Mia looks at me and I glare at her.
"Good morning to you too," I say sarcastically locking the door and walking to the kitchen where Mia is.
"I brought us breakfast. Come on it's your favorite." Mia says handing me a burger. The smell of garlic hits my nose and I hurriedly put the burger on the counter before running to my bedroom and rushing to the bathroom to pour my guts out.
Mia comes over and holds my hair as I continue throwing up. Minutes later I stand up, guessing I stood up pretty fast I feel myself getting light-headed. Before I can even blink I am consumed by darkness.
I wake up and the first thing that I see is bright blinding lights, I close my eyes fast before opening them slowly. I look at my side to see Mia standing looking at the wall talking on the phone.
"Mia?" I call out to her, she does not turn and I realize I was whispering. I clear my throat and Mia turns to me. She runs over to me pulling me into a hug.
"You are awake!" She shouts making me cringe.
"What happened?" I ask.
"You were vomiting and when you tried to stand up you fell back down pretty badly. Ryan and I rushed you here." She says tears threatening to fall.
"That's pretty messed up." I joke and she laughs suddenly her eyes lighting up.
"Let me call the doctor." She says leaving after giving a kiss on the cheek.
Mia walks back with a doctor his tag reading Doctor Clarke.
"Miss Edwards, I will be your doctor from now on. You fell and I glad it was nothing serious." Doctor Clarke says looking at Mia.
"I want to say congratulations." Doctor Clarke says and I look at him wondering why he is congratulating me.
"You are six weeks pregnant." He informs and I couldn't help but gasp.
"If you want we can do a hologram to see how long you are." Doctor Clarke suggests and I nod.
"I will have a nurse come get you." He says before exiting the room.
A second later, Hazel, Colin, Lyn, Ryan, and Alexander budge in all carrying flowers and get-well cards.
I look at all of them and I could feel my eyes getting blurry.
"Kaylee must hit her head if she's about to cry. I never thought she can even cry." Ryan says and Mia playfully smacks his head making us laugh.
"Thank you for being here for me," I say shedding a tear.
"We are a family and this is what families do. Being there for our loved ones." Colin says kissing my forehead. I began crying.
"Should I tell them the reason you are acting as a huge cry b..." Mia trails off when I nod.
"She's pregnant!" Mia shouts and I am sure even the reception desk heard her.
Everyone looked at her then at me then my stomach before they shout their congratulations.
Just then, the nurse walks in with a wheelchair which Colin assisted to get me to it even though I could walk.
Colin, Hazel, Mia, and Alexander offered to be with me for my first time to see my babies. Colin lifts me placing me in the bed as Doctor Clarke comes in.
"Are you ready?" He asks and I nod. He lifts my pajama shirt.
"I didn't know you had a beautiful stomach, Kaylee." Colin jokes and Hazel giggles.
"It's going to be cold." Doctor Clarke informs before putting the cold jelly on my stomach. He puts a wand on top roaming it around my stomach. The screen lights up and we all turn to look at it.
"There is your baby. It's early to tell the sex but what I can say is... Wait, there's another one. Here." Doctor Clarke points at the screen. My heart was beating furiously against my chest, I couldn't
"You are having twins." She says tears streaming down her face. Alexander's eyes also water.
"Yes, you are going to have twins and they are healthy. I will recommend some vitamins. A nurse will be coming over with your discharge papers for you to sign then you are out. Also, she will give you the dates for your next appointments with me." He states before excusing himself.
A nurse enters the room after the doctor leaves. I am wheeled back to my previous room. Signing the release papers we leave the hospital in Mia's Range Rover while Hazel takes Colin's jeep.
"We are all here for you okay?" Mia affirms and I nod.
"So are you going to tell Theo ?" She asks out of the blue.
"I don't think it will change anything so no." I retort.
Mia nods.
Ryan pulls up at my apartment and both of them escort me to my apartment. Getting to my floor, I get a sight of my apartment door fully open.
Something is wrong...
We both walk into the room to find everything in ruins. My couches, my lamps, my carpet, my TV, my kitchen, everything.
"Kay, you need to see this!" Mia shouts from my bedroom room and I turn to walk to my room.
I look at what Mia is pointing and I gasp. They are photos of me, also me with my friends all of them scattered on my bed. I pick one, it was me on my bed drinking what I assumed was coffee.
I turn the photo and see there is a note there. Reading it, I know it can only be one person.
