Our relationship is now better, learning new things about each other every day. I bring my kids to see him now and then.
Dawn visits him when she can as now she's expecting his kid. I was so sorry for putting her in that dungeon and having my people torture her. If I had known she was pregnant earlier, I wouldn't have made her go through all of that.
Liam, Leo, Adam, Ross, and Roger, work together to keep my family safe, together with theirs. I made sure that every family working for us would be protected at all times. No mistakes. If Amelia thought she could destroy me, then she had another thing coming.
I hadn't told the ladies anything, hoping that they would be safe that way. Today is Colin's birthday. So we decided to have a ladies' day out with the kids before the party. Colin refused his mother's idea of having a party in her house saying that he needed to feel young again next to his wife, Hazel. Amelia didn't like the idea of course, but she knew better than to argue with Colin.
We decide to go to the park, Amelia joins us. I was hoping at some point Isabella would come too. Sitting on one of the benches, we watch as the twins play with other kids. Keeping an extra watch on Alessia since she's always hitting some other kid or bitting their nose. I always whoop her but she never listens, I really should limit the time she spends with Ross.
Ethan, Jonathan, and Tanasha are in their mum's arms. Mia excuses herself handing me Ethan. He looks at me, a smile on his cute little face.
" Alessia and Amara look exactly like Theo. Look at them. " Hazel says making me look at her.
" Don't tell me you still following that rule of yours? " Ariana asks and I scowl nodding.
" What rule dear?" Amelia asks. Always so nosy.
" Kaylee has a rule that no one talks about Theo when she's around. " Hazel explains.
" Well, you should have a man by now. What happened to that guy you were dating, Thomas or something?" Lyn asks.
" It was Trever. And it didn't work out. He wasn't the one." I say kissing Ethan's chubby cheeks.
" You always say that. Remember when I set you up with Neil's half-cousin Dwayne? You stood him up saying that he's not the one." Lyn persists. Now, this is why I should change my friends all of them are married or engaged, making me feel like the one odd out.
"He wasn't." I shoot back.
"Well, how did you know? You didn't even meet him!" Lyn exclaims.
" When you meet the one, you just know," I say softly making Arianna nod in agreement.
" Like you still believe Theo is the one?" Hazel asks.
" Let me go check on Alessia. She's one wild kid."I say. I didn't have to answer that question, of course, I knew he was the one. Don't ask me how I know. I just know. Walking over to the play area, I watch Alessia giggling and playing with this cute little boy.
"I think she has a crush on my son." A woman, probably in her early twenties says making me laugh.
" That I'm sure. I was expecting to find her biting and hitting others. " I say and she shakes her head laughing.
" I'm Kaylee, mother of those two. That's Alessia playing with your son and that's Amara over there." Amara was busy playing with the other kids, as usual.
" Brianna but you can call me Bri. That's Wesley." She says smiling.
"I'm here with my friends over there, would you like to join?" I ask making her shake her head.
" I would love to but I need to get going."
" Alright. "
I watch as she saunters towards Wesley, Alessia frowns at her. Welsey leans in and kisses Alessia's cheeks. She lights up smiling.
"Even she's getting kisses and you are not," I mutter to myself.
Walking back to the bench where the ladies are, they all give me a look.
"What?" I ask as Mia takes Ethan from my arms.
" Nothing." Hazel is quick to answer and I lift my perfect-shaped eyebrow at her.
" Okay. I'm gonna say it. Theo moved on with Isabella. If Theo doesn't love her, he could have already left her. Instead, he's still fucking her every night and day when you are here all heartbroken and all. I get it you still love him, but you need to open your eyes and see that you two are never going to be together. Move on Kaylee! " Amelia yells and I look around my group of friends.
" Amelia," Hazel interjects.
"What Hazel? You were the one who was saying that she needed awake-up call. " Amelia scolds.
" What's wrong with you Amelia. Whoever she chooses to love is her choice. " Lyn says.
" You are her friends. You have to watch over each other, Kaylee here needs to let go." Amelia says looking directly at me.
" You are right Amelia," I say taking my purse getting ready to leave.
" Bye," I say walking away.
"Kaylee, wait! "
I don't bother to turn back. I take the twins, seeing my mood they don't put up a fight. Putting them into their safety seats, I walk over to the drivers' side since I'm the one driving today. Richard and Ross follow my car closely.
From what Amelia said, I realize that she wants me to stay away from Theo. Maybe I never saw it but in some way, she was glad Theo left me to be with Isabella. Maybe it was their plan all along.
But how did those two convince Theo?
They must have something on him or someone he cares about. There's only one way to find out. Through Theo himself.
I'll find out everything tonight.
