The rest of the day goes by quickly and people start to head out. When the last person leaves, I inform my grandma and Dorothy of the information I got from Liam. To say they were shocked, was an understatement.

"So who do you think is collaborating with Connor?" Dorothy asks. I don't have any ideas. We try to look through Connor's visitors' list but nothing pops up except Dawn. She went to see him during her time off, one that I insisted she take because I thought she worked so hard.

"I don't know. I might say Isabella but I don't think those two even know each other. " I say earning a nod from Dorothy. My grandma gives me a look.

"Don't underestimate that woman. She wants to make sure you disappear from this world together with your daughters. I wouldn't be surprised to find out she was the one behind all of this. " Grandma says and I rub her back.

" True. I'll have Liam look into it. Now, you need to rest. " I tell my grandma who nods getting up from the white posh couches and up the stairs.

"You need to rest too. It's been a long day. I can see the bags under your eyes." Dorothy says and I nod. Having already had dinner, I head to my room.

The twins are in bed, asleep. I strip and have a quick shower. Changing into comfortable clothes. I get into the covers, I turn off the lights. I kiss my daughters goodnight before letting sleep take me.

I wake up with my daughters giggling. I open my eyes and see I have an hour before we have to leave. I take them downstairs and into the dining room where everyone is. Grandma is fast to take Amara. It's no secret that Grandma loves Amara a little bit more. Ross takes Alessia who is muttering some words I can't make out.

I take a seat, deciding to go with for a heavy breakfast. Once I'm done and the twins are fed, I walk back to my room. I brush my teeth before jumping into the shower. Today we are going to lay Grandpa to rest. Putting on my black dress that Mia sent over. I put my hair in a bun, only applying lipgloss on my lips.

I slip on black boots and exit my room with my purse. Checking on Liam, he tells me he has nothing new.

The girls are already clean and dressed to I pick them up heading outside. Ken is ready to open the door, putting the twins into their safety seats. I seat next to them with Liam in the front seat.

Grandma already left so we head directly to the funeral home to get grandpa then head straight to the cemetery where he would be laid to rest. Minutes later, we pull up next to the black cars parked on the side. Liam surveys the area before letting us out.

The mass is short and close friends and family are asked to say something about him.  I tried to talk only to sob even harder. Grandma too couldn't even get a word out, so the close friends were the ones who talked.  If I thought talking was the hard part, then I was wrong. When grandpa's casket is lowered into the ground that's when I just lost it. Fat tears fell down my face, I wailed hoping that maybe, just maybe it could bring grandpa back. Dorothy gets me a chair, handing me a bottle of water. Rubbing my back, I soon calm down.

People come by muttering their condolences.

"My condolences, Kaylee." A familiar voice says and I look up to see Isabella, next to her is Theo holding their baby Nathan.

"Thank you," I say calmly still staring at Theo who clenches and unclenches his fist.

"We'll get going," Isabella says pulling Theo with him. He looks at me with such longing and sadness. He looks at the twins in the trolley before shooting me a small smile and leaving with Isabella.

Amelia comes by, standing next to me, looking at Theo and Isabella.

"They look happy don't they?" She asks and I nod absentmindedly.
