Anyways, right now I'm drifting endlessly in the Atlantic ocean. Floating on my back, starring thoughtfully up at the sky. The clouds are making objects of my imagination.

Olivine and I actually used to be really great friends. Yes, I do love her, but it was more of a one-sided love. When I was stronger and in my teenage form, we used to travel to all sorts of places. We even used to swim a lot too. Olivine wasn't always afraid of water, she used to love it. I used to have to drag her out of the ocean to go home. How I miss those days...

We would climb trees and watch the sunset, pretend that we were pirates, cook new dishes, find secret caves, discover new landforms, and sometimes we would sing songs or tell stories. It was just me and Olivine, as happy as we could be.

I still remember the day I found her. It was spring time, long before time was being counted. I found her in a forest as a scared toddler. She was covered in soft moss and beautiful flowers caressed her. Forest nymphs of all kinds surrounded her and kissed her face to cheer her up. She was so innocent, precious, and pure. At that moment, I instantly fell in love with her. I couldn't just leave her like that, so I decided to take her home.

From then on, we both grew stronger. I was able to stay in my teenage form longer and my water magic was on the level of Poseidon. Olivine grew to be a charming child, curious and adventurous. She was still discovering her magic and she tried everyday to impress me. She was so cute and loving... until I told her that I loved her.

"You pedo! I'm like five years old! And you're like... eighteen!" Those were her exact words when I told her.

From then on, she turned Tsundere. I still loved her though. I told her every day and every night, hoping for the day when she would say it back. But she never did, she never got a chance to. That day... that day changed everything for the both of us.

~~

It was a normal sunny day, Olivine had just learned a spell to bring forth the balance of nature. She was trying to impress me as usual, smiling and being confident as she concentrated in the forest.

"Cody! Cody! I'm going to do it this time! I'm going to make the whole world happy!" She smiled at me with her life.

I didn't have the balls to tell her that it wasn't possible. I would rather die than to make her cry. So she performed her spell. She closed her eyes, grounded her feet, spread her arms out, and spoke a Latin enchantment.

Before me, the world around us shown brightly in a rainbow of colors. For a split second, the whole world was a rainbow display of every color in the universe. Then, everything turned black and white.

The Earth shook, the seas thrashed, the sky was torn in half. What happened next, shocked the world. The ground before us slowly started to drift apart. I couldn't hear her call my name, I couldn't see the beautiful colors of her eyes. All I could see was the dark substance that was gushing down her face as she laid helplessly on the ground.
