I am in a bush...

The bush covered my whole body and I blocked my view to see where I was. Although, it was easy to tell that it was daytime. I tried to twist around to move, but the branches tangled my clothes and limited my movements. Suddenly, a brown and black cat with a stubbed tail jumped into the bush. It had green eyes and it seemed to be a stray. My senses sharpened as I heard large slow footsteps start to approach my location.

I don't recognize these footsteps so it must besomeone that I haven't met before.

"Here cat~" a man called in a slow voice.

I stayed silent and remembered what Iggy... Daddy told me about stranger danger. The man's footsteps drew closer as the cat meowed loudly. I tried to shush the calling cat but it didn't listen. Now, his footsteps are so close that I can see his brown shoes. I could hear my heart pound in my chest as I awaited his movements. Abruptly, the cat jumped out of the bush and left me. The man picked up the cat but didn't walk away.

Did he see me in the bush?

Swiftly, the man parted the bush and gazed upon me. He had brown hair, olive green eyes, peach skin, a somewhat long nose, and long eyebrows. On the top of his head, he had a double haircurl. He was as muscular as Germany and he wore a brown jacket with brown pants and a white t-shirt. The most noticeable thing was that there were an abundance of cats all around him.

"Kitty..." he said in a plain expression as he took another look at me.

I didn't know what to say. But then he simply picked me up with one arm and started to carry me. I held onto his shirt for support since the other cats were occupying the rest of his body. He didn't speak or change his expression, he simply started to walk up the path of trees with pink petals.

I don't feel the need to thrash and shout, he doesn't seem to have a hostile intent. If he was a bad person, then all of the cats would have been afraid of him.

He soon came upon a house that seemed to have a Japanese style with a twist of modern technology. He rang the doorbell and waited for someone to open it. The door seemed to slide open and it was Kiku-san who answered it.

"Look Kiku, I found a kitty," the man holding me calmly stated.

"Girisu-san, that's not a cat, that's Mame-chan!" Kiku-san was obviously surprised to see me.

"Ohayou Kiku-san! Or Konnichiwa... or Konbanwa... I don't kn-know what time of d-day it is..." My shyness got the better of me.

"Konnichiwa is fine, prease come in."

The man, who I'm guessing is Girisu-san, took his shoes off as he came through the door. The cats jumped off and dispersed to other parts of the house. I was already wearing socks so I could be placed on the ground.

Kiku-san led us to a medium sized room with a... Kotatsu? Yeah, Kotatsu in the middle. We sat on our knees on the cushions that were placed on the sides of it.

"If you don't mind me asking, how did you get arr the way over here in Nihon?" Kiku-san asked.

"Well... l-long story short, Iggy is the o-one who is taking c-care of me and I p-poofed in my sleep a-again," I stated in embarrassment. I made sure to call him by that name since I'm not used to the other.

"I shourd at reast terr him that you are here, sumimasen," he stood up and left the room.

I turned to Girisu-san as a curious cat jumped onto the kotatsu.

"No cat, don't climb on the table," he warned calmly as he picked up the cat.

To make this not so awkward, I decided to start a conversation. Introducing myself should do it.
