Chapter 36~ Nature Child

Because it was super late (technically early) when we finally arrived in England, we all agreed to explain everything in the morning. But we did explain that the drinking contest was all Gil's fault. He was supposed to be the responsible one....

After breakfast, I told everyone about my adventures in accidental travel to Germany and Austria. Of course they were worried about how I poofed off to an unknown place, but they were glad that I was with people that they knew.

After the storytelling was done, Mattie and I informed Iggy about my 2p situation. He listened to every word from both of our point of views. They were both horrified when I explained what she did to me on that snowy night. Iggy couldn't believe that she had so much power over me since we should have the same amount of power. After all, she's just another version of myself, in a parallel universe.

Finally when I was able to be alone with Iggy in his room, I brought my most urgent issue to attention. I had placed my wand in my hoodie pocket so I wouldn't touch it until the time came. He stood in front of me like I asked him to, waiting for my response to his questioning.

"Th-There's something that I d-discovered while I w-was at Mattie's house... I d-don't quite understand i-it but I'll j-just show you," I said shyly.

"Okay..." he said with suspicion.

I took a deep breath and pulled out my wand with my right hand. We waited, and waited, and waited.

"Olivine, nothing's ha--"

My transformation began. The vast green light surrounded me and my wand shaped into a grand staff. I had closed my eyes for effect and opened them when I felt the light fade. Iggy was astonished, starstruck, dumbfounded. His mouth was agape, constantly trying to find an explanation.

"As you can see, I seem to change forms when I touch the wand that you gave me. I wanted to know if this was your doing. Oh! And uh... no I'm not wearing pants..." I confessed.

Iggy was still in awe.

"S-Sorry! It's just..." he looked away with a light blush on his face.

"Just what?" I was curious.

"Nothing! It's just... you're beautiful... absolutely beautiful..." he admitted as he cupped the right side of my face.

"Thank you... that means a lot..." I could feel myself heating up.

As we gathered our bearings, he explained something to me.

"I had no idea that you could do that, I didn't do anything special to the wand either. I'm not sure where all this power came from," he said as we sat on his bed.

I crossed my legs and spoke, "Maybe I had this power inside of me, dormant until something awoke inside of my soul."

"That's very Avatar like, but let's go with that," he teased.

"What's up with this staff anyways? It looks so... magical and mysterious," I held it up and examined it.

"I would love to run some tests on this with Vlad, but I don't want to mess it up in any way," Iggy thought hard.

"Who is Vlad? I mean what country is he?"

"Oh, He's Romania."

"Oh~ thanks."

A silence passed as we tried to find our words.

Iggy spoke first, "Anyway, how do you feel? To be in a different form?"

"Well... I can still control my body perfectly, but it just feels odd," I admitted.

"... Seventeen..." he whispered.
