It had been a week since they kissed. None of them had spoken about it but none of them saw each other much.
Andy had been busy at work so when it was her turn to have Alex she would pick him up from nursery and either take him back to hers if she has him overnight or she'll get Ryan to drop Alex off at Roberts.
Ryan had been helping Robert with Alex, however, he could but the baby missed andy
He would take the baby to the station just as Robert was about to finish his shift.
Pruitt; son why do I keep seeing Ryan with your baby what happened with my daughter.
Robert, too many questions at once sir, Ryan is helping and nothing happened with your daughter she is busy working.
Pruitt; Good just for a minute then I thought you were going to say you and Ryan were together then.
Robert; what no sir, he laughed
Andy hadn't told Pruitt or Ryan what happened all they know is she been busy with work
One evening when Ryan had to drop Alex off at Roberts they talked, Ryan knew her best friend well to know something is wrong.
Once Robert put Alex to bed they had a chat.
Ryan; so what happened with andy, he asked.
Robert; I don't know we took the baby swimming, we laughed we enjoyed our time together with him and then a woman said something that made her go quiet. It was about being a mummies boy. Which I understood after she told me she lost her unborn baby
Ryan; wait she was pregnant when she never told me.
Robert thought because Ryan was close to her he would of know.
Robert; I'm sorry I thought you knew.
Ryan; no, so then what happened.
Robert; we carried on talking, we only had two glasses of wine but somehow out spare of the moment we kissed. Then she pushed me away and left. And I can't tell you any more about her being pregnant as I promise I wouldn't.
Ryan; has she told you what happened with her ex.
Robert; no all I know is she been through enough over the past couple of years which is what she keeps saying and her father keeps telling me.
Ryan; her fiancee cheated on her several time and she caught him on her wedding day.
In the meantime Alex decide to wake up with a high temperature, they stripped him down to his vest and nappy but the little guy still had the temperature and was not happy.
Robert tried everything but he wouldn't settle after half-hour his temperature dropped to normal as Robert gave the baby some Calpol.
They couldn't get hold of andy as she still working but they both left messages.
Ryan; do you know if andy left any clothes here?
Ryan had an idea that could work but again it might not.
Robert; I don't know you could have a look in the spare room that's where she sleeps.
Ryan went to check the room and found a t-shirt taking back down to Robert.
Ryan; here this still has andy's sense on so let him cuddle it.
Robert put the T-shirt close to the baby, it did work a little but the baby still kept getting a high temperature so they decide to take him to the hospital, to get checked out
Ryan leaving a message to andy saying they were taking Alex to the hospital.
Looking at the last message she received she panicked so she rang Ryan but couldn't get through so she left to go down to them
Arriving at the hospital she was a little confused as to why Alex was snuggling her t-shirt.
Andy;" how is he doing". She asked Robert.
