It was lunchtime when Maya decide to turn up to see Alex.
Robert; "you've chosen a bad time to come and see the baby he's in a grumpy mood."
Maya; "well maybe a cuddle from his godmother will help".
Robert laugh, I doubt that he won't even know you and he's only in a grump mood because well he hasn't seen andy. He thought to himself
Robert; "be my guess if you think you can do a better job."
Maya; "hello baby, how are you?"
Alex just looked at her never smiled,
Maya; "so where's the baby sitter, I thought she's here most of the time with him"
Robert; "ANDY her name is, she has her job as well like you already know so when she finishes she'll be over".
Maya; "I still don't think she's good enough for him, she no experience she barely knows Alex and what he's been through".
Robert; "you haven't been here Maya you can't say that when you haven't seen them together and andy know all about Alex and most of me because we have had the conversations"
Maya; "I made a promise to Claire that I'd take care of him make sure he's getting all he needs."
Robert was starting to get angry, he tried not to shout but he couldn't stand it anymore the way Maya was talking about Alex and Andy it wasn't fair. She thought she knew the baby so well.
Robert; "you shouldn't have made any promise to her regarding my son, you know she didn't want him from the start and yet here you are pretending as she did. And don't you dare tell me how you think you know Alex, because you've seen him twice since has been born."
Maya; "that's going to change I'll be seeing him regularly so you need to get used to it."
He laughed ok you think you know him well then go ahead and have him for an hour I'm going out.
Just as he thought two minutes after he left the house he got messages Alex is crying and I don't know what's wrong. He felt bad for leaving him but he had to teach Maya a lesson.
Her messages stopped after half-hour which worried him so he headed back to the house.
He goes into the house and the baby isn't crying as he went into the lounge he saw andy holding the baby she didn't look happy.
Robert; "Everything alright"
Neither Maya nor andy spoke. Maya carried on watching how andy dealt with Alex. She was wrong, the way she interacts with the baby and the way he settles straight away for her.
Andy still never spoke to Robert, he had a feeling Maya had told her stuff.
As the baby finally fell asleep andy puts him in his crib making sure his blanket was touching his cheek as that what he likes. Then went told Robert she'll see him tomorrow.
Robert; "please don't go, stay we can talk"
Andy; "I'll probably phone you later she kissed the baby and left"
Robert; "what did you tell her."
Maya; "It might not have been what I've told her but it might be the fact that you left Alex with me that she was more concerned about considering when she came in all she heard was the baby crying none stop or the fact that I called and text saying I didn't know what the hell he's crying for"
Robert; "you shouldn't say that you know so well then. The only person that knows is andy because she's spent a lot of time with him".
Maya; "yeah I could see that"
