The door slammed as Andy and Bella left the house
Alex; "Mommy," he said as he went to stud by the front door momma he began to cry
Robert just sat on the sofa, he knew this wasn't Andy's fault, he knew she wouldn't let any harm come to Alex or Bella but it scared him that he could have lost Alex.
Days went by and he didn't go or ask how Andy or Bella was doing. Alex kept asking for his momma and his baby sister he didn't understand where they had gone and why they hadn't come home.
Alex began to play up he wouldn't sleep at all, and he didn't want to go to nursery. Ben and Bailey offered to have him but when he did Alex refused to sleep. He wasn't a happy boy at all. Robert in the meantime worked every hour he could
Ben; "Little Man has done nothing but cry", he said handing the toddler to Robert
Robert; "I don't know what's wrong with him he doesn't have signs of being poorly he just cries nonstop"
Ben; "remember that beautiful wife-to-be that he calls mummy"
Robert; "yeah"
Ben; "that's why he misses his momma, sort something out so he can see her"
Robert; "she left me and took my daughter, she doesn't want to see me. I don't even know whether there's going to be a wedding at this point"
Ben; "so you gonna act like a child about it."
Alex still was crying so Ben took him for another night but he knew the toddler needed rest otherwise he would end up being poorly so there was only one person whom he wanted
Ben and Bailey had an idea they rang Andy and told her that they needed a talk with her and Robert. Two children are suffering here and they both certainly need each other. Andy turned up at Robert's house early to see what Ben and Bailey wanted she could see Robert wasn't coping he was tired and hadn't had a shower in days it looked like.
Robert was surprised to see her he didn't know why she was back Alex stood against Andy holding her arms up
Alex; "pick up he kept saying pick up", she picked him up holding him in his arms as he wrapped his arms around her neck and his head on her shoulder within minutes the little boy asked for a blanky he started rubbing the blanky against his face as laid back in the position he was a started falling asleep
Andy; "Bailey wanted me to come around her and Ben wanted to talk I'm just going to get Bella some more clothes" she said and started walking towards the stairs
Robert; "please don't go, I'm sorry for being an idiot, I was scared that I was going to lose Alex please come back"
Andy; "we both could have lost Alex that night but it's only you that matters". She replied
Robert; "please Andy let's talk," he said taking her hand and gently pulling her towards him.
Andy; "you pushed me away, you refused to let me comfort our son because you blamed me"
Robert; "Andy come on I didn't" He was cut off as she spoke again
Andy; "admit it, for one moment you blamed me for."
Robert couldn't answer her, because he knew he shouldn't but he did blame Andy
Andy; "that's what I thought, I'll bring Bella on around tomorrow for a few hours." She said picking the baby up and leaving again.
Just as she was about to leave again Ben and Bailey were at the door. It delayed Andy from leaving as they wanted to know how Alex and Them all were doing
Ben; "how are you all, Has Alex been ok?" Silence filled the room.
Robert; "he's fine, just a bit unsettled" he said
As Bailey held Bella both Ben and Bailey knew something wasn't right between Andy and Robert
Andy; "I'm going to check with Alex to see if he's awake"
Ben; "I'll come and see him. Leaving Bailey and Robert to talk"
Bailey; "spill what's up with Andy why has she been crying"
Robert; "I messed up, that's what happened and now she's leaving me"
Bailey; "what did you do," she replied
Robert; the night Alex got taken when we got him home she wanted to cuddle Alex and I wouldn't let her, I let him sleep with me even though he didn't sleep because he wanted his mum."
Bailey; "so you blamed Andy for what happened to Alex even though she loves and cares for that baby boy and wouldn't hurt a single strain of hair on his little head"
Robert; "I know, I was angry and scared of losing my son it was stupid I know Andy wouldn't do anything to harm him she loves him so much"
Bailey; "why don't myself and Ben take Alex and Bella for the night or two so you can both talk and sort things out"
Robert; "I don't know, just before you turned up she was about to leave with Bella again"
Bailey; "running isn't always the option, especially with two children who need both parents is it?"
Robert; "it's wheather Andy wants to or not she may just want some space."
While Bailey and Robert talked Ben and Andy were talking as well. Ben convinced Andy to let him and Bailey take the children for the night. They had been through something parents should never go through and they were exhausted.
Andy got the children's clothes and accessories ready in a bag so that when Alex woke they could go.
Ben; "I promise they'll be safe with us."
They joined Bailey and Robert in the lounge with Alex
Ben; "I said to Andy we could have Alex and Bella so you both can have a rest and maybe talk"
Robert agreed and got them ready they said goodbyes as they drove off down the road.
Robert; "please come back in and talk. I've missed you so much," he told her
Those three words set Andy off again as her eyes filled with water. He wrapped his arms around her
Robert; "I'm sorry I never meant to hurt you, I know you wouldn't hurt any of our children"
Ben made her understand where Robert was coming from through Alex's little life Robert had fought for him to be here and Dennis taking him like that scared him but he also shouldn't have blamed Andy and stopped him from going to Andy
Andy; "I do understand Robert but we are a team you shouldn't have cut me off that little boy wanted me to comfort him when he needed me, it hurt me being in the next room and hearing him cry shouting Mommy!"
Robert; "I am sorry, please I don't want you to leave please stay I'll make you a hot bath I'll order a takeaway and we can talk please," he couldn't say please and was sorry enough time he loved this woman and without her, he's nothing but a useless man
Andy; "I'll stay only one condition"
Robert; "fine you name it I'll do it" he told her
Andy; "you shower because you smell really bad" she smiled
Robert; "yes I will do that as long as you join me he replied taking her hand and pulling her closer
They showered together, kissing and washing down each other in that moment everything that happened was behind them. They lay together in bed as she looked toward the the wall with the wedding countdown that shows 60 days till they get married and nothing has been prepared yet
Andy; we get married in 60 days we haven't done anything or got anything.
Robert; then as of tomorrow we will start getting stuff together he said starting to kiss her
60 days till their wedding will it happen or won't it 🤭someone is keeping a secret who and what is it 🤭🙈
