It's is the morning of their scan Robert and Andy trying to discuss baby names
Robert; "if it's a boy how about Edward but we can call him Eddie for short"
Andy; "I don't know whether I like the name. What about jack"
Robert; "no we have a jack at the station and he'll think I've named him after him."
Andy; "what girls names been we can't decide"
Robert; "alright how about lily- sue or Lottie or Delilah"
Andy; "how are you thinking of these names, these ain't ex-girlfriends are they" she laughed.
Robert; "no while you were laughing and giggling with Alex early hours this morning I decided to look at some names"
Andy; "well I do like this one she said pointing to the name."
Robert; "I was hoping you say that one as I like it too. All we need is boys names to sort."
Andy; "well we still got plenty of time to sort names but now we need to go". She kissed him and moved out of his arms.
Arriving at the hospital.
Dr Robins; "wow just look at you both smiles, I thought I'd never see it. And little man is back in the arms of a mummy. That's brilliants come on let's see your baby."
"So you are 21 weeks now so if you want we can see the sex hopefully would you both like that"
Andy and Robert together; "yes"
Robins; "right come on then, let's go and see," she said smiling
It went quiet in the room while Robin did her baby checks making sure the baby is healthy and growing a concerned look on her face made andy and Robert anxious.
Andy; "is everything alright," She asked
Robins; "everything is fine but the baby is not growing as much as they should but it's nothing to worry about she has grown just not a lot since your last check-up"
Robert; "she???"
Robins; "I'm sorry yes she is a girl congratulation."
They both looked at each other smiling.
Andy was given another baby pack this time she had different leaflets that she thought would be ideal to do with Robert, so that afternoon she booked the session.
Andy; "do you think ben would be able to have Alex for a few hours I have somewhere for us to go"
Robert; "yes he's already asked but what do you have in mind. Will it involve me taking a set of clothes and asking for Ben to have Alex overnight."
Andy; "the first part yes definitely going to need to take a change of clothes and no we won't need Ben to have the baby overnight."
Robert; "so what are we doing". Curious about what Andy had planned.
Andy; "trust me you'll like it. She said kissing him. Make sure you are ready we have to be there by three."
Robert; "please tell me I don't like surprises"
Andy; "all I'm saying is that it's an activity that involves you putting your hands on my body". She said with a flirtatious smile
As she thought his mind went elsewhere
Ben -Robert; can we have Alex overnight we thought of taking him to the zoo in the morning.
Robert-ben; that's fine we'll pack an overnight bag for him.
