From that day he told her about the drug problem he hadn't spoken to her. She rushed out of her office now it's been three days she hasn't been to see Alex either which they are all suffering with.
She had been busy with this case the same one she was pulled out of meeting with Robert, it's been three days. She had eaten properly, slept and she's put her phone down somewhere and she doesn't know where. She missed Alex this is the longest she hasn't seen him for. She hadn't had time to process the confession that Robert told her, she didn't know how long he's had it whether it's been dealt with.
Once Andy finished her job she went back to the office she close the door and the blinds and laid on the couch. She didn't want to go home and she was exhausted. As soon as her tired body relaxed on the couch she fell straight asleep.
Her police case was finally over and she now had a few days off. Still laid on the couch thinking what to do where does she go first when she was brought out of thought by a vibration.
It was her phone, it fell down the side of the couch.
The number of calls and messages she had from her father Ryan and also Robert all worried asking where she was if she is alright
She mainly looked at Roberts messages as there were concerns, he thought because she hadn't seen him or Alex she didn't want anything to do with them.
She laid back down on the couch as her body was still tired and message Robert.
Andy; I'm sorry I had to leave like that the other day, I had an emergency case that had to be dealt with, it has taken all this time to close the case. As soon as I'm fully awake I'll come over and we can finish talking. Unless your working. How are you both? Again I'm sorry I haven't been in touch I also put my phone down somewhere and because I was that knackered I didn't know where I put it until not long ago.
She rang her father and then Ryan just to let them know she was still alive and well and she was on a case at work but she had now finished and she would see them soon.
Robert was glad that he finally heard from Andy, he decides to take Alex to daycare for a few hours.
The door knocked. But never wait for her to answer.
Robert; I just got your message and I knew you were still here.
Andy, I'm so glad it's you and no one else, just means I don't have to move.
He let's out a little laugh
Robert; before I took Alex to daycare I was wondering if you want to see him
Andy; you know I would, how's he been, has he had his blanket.
Robert; the blanket hasn't helped it's been hard to settle him.
Andy; I can't move Robert your gonna have to bring him over to me
Robert; are you sure you alright. He asked her as he laid Alex next to her.
Alex snuggled right into her, letting her know he had missed her, holding her top so she couldn't go anywhere with the other hand he sucked his thumb.
Andy laid there for a few minutes just watching him.
She was never thought about babies but this little guy unexpectedly, came into her life and she fell in love with him and as for his dad well she didn't have the words to describe how she felt about him just yet.
As she laid there she was drifting off back to sleep.
She woke a few hours later to Robert still sat beside her but Alex wasn't insight.
Robert; I took the baby to daycare. How do you feel now?
