It had been a whole day since andy and Robert had seen each other. He couldn't help but think there might be something between Ryan and andy after all he saw a message saying don't make me regret loving you, I can easily hate you and walk away from andy to Ryan.
He was alone as baby Alex had gone with his godparent ben and bailey for the day and hopefully the night. He wondered about messaging her and her straight but he would write the message then delete it again. He needed food so he went shopping, walking down one aisle to see andy and Ryan together laughing and throwing their arms around each other.
Andy notices Robert and immediately stopped messing with Ryan.
Andy; "hey how are you, how's Alex and where is he"?
Robert; "we're both good and Alex is at bens for the night"
Andy could tell something was wrong he was distant, Ryan had disappeared leaving them talking.
Andy; "are you sure you're ok?"
Robert; "yes, I better go" than walked away.
This played on her mind the rest of the day.
Andy; "what did you tell Robert the other day?"
Ryan; "I showed him the messages and we talked.".
Andy; "so why is he being like this, I told you not to show him".
It played on her mind every since they saw each other in the store, She got up and took a walk, he's not at home as all the lights were off so she carried on walking which brought her to the fire station, she popped in to see if her father was there but he wasn't just Robert.
Andy; " is my dad working tonight? "she asked him.
Robert; "yes there on a 5 alarm call-out". He never lifted his head to talk to her.
Andy; "can I ask you something".
Robert; "what?"
Andy; "what have I done".
Robert; "Apart from making me believe that we could be something when all this time you are with Ryan".
Andy; "eww, what are you on about"?
Robert; "I saw the messages".
Andy; "so you know I want to be with you?
Robert; "no the message I saw was don't make me regret loving you, I can also hate you"
Andy; WAIT so he didn't show you the messages, so he didn't show you that I want to be with you? And he didn't show you how I felt safe being in your arms and want to be in them all the time
As she was saying this she was walking backwards and forwards of his office"
This had his attention, she's admitted she wants to be with him and he's still sat there he thought. He got standing in front of her.
Robert; I haven't seen any of these messages but I think I need to read them now. Do you mean what you said

Robert couldn't wait any longer he kissed her, she didn't hold back. The hands were exploring their bodies as the edge nearer to his bunk.
But he had to stop before it got out of hand. He was at the station where her father could walk in any minute.
Robert; Andy we can't, we need to stop, I think it best if you go... He didn't get to finish before she had left
It was the way he had said the words that frightened her
Robert; "Andy... Andy wai" he followed out of the office but was stopped by captain Pruitt.
Pruitt; "what's happened why has she ran out like that? Did you do something? I warned you a few weeks ago about messing with her".
Robert couldn't tell him they almost had sex with his bunk so he said nothing happened to misunderstand.
A few hours passed and he had done all the paperwork that he had gone in the station to do he so he was about to leave
Pruitt; "I know you shared a kiss with andy and I know you both have some sort of whatever between you bit as I said before she's been hurt before".
Robert; "andy has told me everything that's happened from finding out her mother is still alive to getting cheated on to having a mis. You know what she's told me loads"
Pruitt; "finish that last sentence son, having a what?"
Robert; "sir it's not my place to tell you."
Pruitt was getting angry he knew what Robert was about to say and he didn't know why she couldn't tell him.
Robert; "you know she's gonna hate me telling you but she had a miscarriage and I was the one on aid car duty that took her to the hospital. This was the first time I saw her, I don't know it was andy the second time I saw her but then she told me she woke in a hospital bed instil in her wedding dress."
Pruitt didn't say anything else he just walked away. Robert knew he must be hurting, he followed him.
Robert; "I know it's only been two and a half months but I have fallen in love with andy and she came here to tell me that she had felt the same but I somehow manage to say the wrong thing, that's when you saw her run out the office".
Pruitt; "well whatever it is you best go and find her and explain".
Without another thought Robert was gone he went to her home but she wasn't there so he tried Ryan's but he hadn't seen her. Robert couldn't ring or message her as he left it at the station.
He goes back to his house as he opens the door he sees the car seat in the hallway so he goes into the lounge to see Andy and Alex fast asleep together on the couch.
He bends down on the floors, stroking Alex's face who starts to stir which made Andy wake up
Andy; "I tried calling and left loads of messages I don't know if you've got them but also Ben has tried several times as well both telling you that Alex had been good the whole day but come bedtime he wouldn't settle. So I picked him up and brought him here".
Robert; "I'm sorry I left my phone at the station but I went looking for you, shocking as it'll sound I had a nice conversation with your dad and he told me to come and find you. You never let me finish talking but we had to stop what we were about to do I didn't want it like that in the bunk your dad could have caught us then what"
This made her laugh,
Robert;" I want you and it obvious that OUR baby boy wants you as well considering he doesn't like sleeping unless he has a good night cuddle from you".
Andy;" our baby boy, I like that she said smiling.
Robert; " me too" what about you little guy do you like it.
Andy; "I think he already does consider he's already attached to me".
Alex was now awake and listening to his dad talking which made him smile. Although he didn't understand what he was saying.
Andy; "I'm sorry for running out of the station it was the way you said it. Also, I'm not mad as I did see my father coming into the office. I know I should've waited for you to finish. I do want to be with you".
He leaned over her to kiss her but Alex started to moan
It made them both laugh
Robert; "excuse me little man you need to share we can love her together".
Once Alex had his last feed and was asleep andy and Robert spent the rest of the night on the sofa cuddling and watching a movie and every now and then they would kiss.
Once the film had finished they decide to go to bed. She laid in his arms where she felt safe it didn't take them long for them both to fall asleep.
