An argument with her father led Andy to go travelling with her best friend Ryan. She loves spending as much time with him as she could. They stopped in Miami for a while when they both were asked to join their team at the Miami police department. They agreed as they this is what they wanted to do.
After a few weeks of being at the station she met Adrian they got on well then he asked her on a date and she accepted.
A smile grew on her face as she heard a certain man voice getting closer to her, coming closer to her desk, kissing her good morning. Andy was happy to be with this man. Ryan however didn't like the guy there was just something about him that made him protect Andy a little more. He knew she could look after herself but she was falling too deep for this guy that anything he or anyone would tell her about him She didn't believe.
It had been half a year when Aidrain proposed to Andy and of course she said yes. Ryan had to look happy but deep down He wasn't. It had been two weeks since the engagement and Ryan caught g aidrain with another woman. He didn't want to break Andy's heart so he kept quiet after punching the guy. Warning him to never break this women heart if he wants to be with her then he needs to show it if not then he needs to let her down gently.
Aidrain told Ryan he did want to be with Andy and she is everything he wants.
On her wedding day, Andy and Ryan were waiting to walk down the aisle, she looked beautiful wearing a white brides dress with avail. She was nervous and she needs to see aidrain to make sure he wanted to marry her.
As she went to his room the door was open so she sneaked in hearing noises from a man and a woman making love. She saw aidrain and another woman together in bed. This woman wasn't just any women, she was a friend, a close friend ifthat.
This broke her heart, she ran out of his room out of the church when Ryan saw her leaving he asked what had happened, she broke down and told him.
Ryan was pissed he this was the second time as he far as he knew that he had done this.
Ryan; "So what do you want to"
Andy; " I don't want to see him ever again, I want to go home, Ryan".
And just like that Ryan helped his best friend run away back to Seattle.
Tears kept falling, her heart was broken. She made it back to Seattle, she had pain in her stomach ever since leaving Miami she thought it was hunger pains as she hadn't eaten all that day but it just got worse after eating then going to the toilet she notice heavy bleeding.
She tried making her way to her childhood home but she passed out waking up at the grey-Sloan hospital.
Miss Herrera, I'm sorry to have to tell you but you suffered a miscarriage. Andy didn't know how to feel she never knew she was pregnant, she had no signs her period wasn't later no sickness nothing.
As soon as she was able to leave the hospital Andy went to the station where her dad worked.
Hearing a baby crying constantly made her want to turn around and walk back out but she heard
Ben; Hello can I help you. Ben was holding the crying baby struggling to settle.
Andy; "I'm looking for captain Pruitt is he around"
Ben; " he out on a call at the minute, your welcome to stay and wait or leave a message.
Andy didn't do any she asked to hold the baby as she could see He was struggling but once he fell asleep she left.
She sat on the porch waiting for her father to come home. Pruitt was glad to see her. Andy didn't tell him why she was back and what happened. But Pruitt knew she tells him when she's ready.
It had been a few weeks and Andy was now working at the Seattle police department and going to visit her father and his team at the station. Again she met little Alex who was causing so much trouble for his father as he wouldn't settle while he tried eating
So she took the baby and let his father eat, the little guy soon settled so she put him down in the pushchair. Robert asked her to help him a few days a week. She told him she would think about it.
Returning home one day to find, aidrain in the lounge talking to her father, she was fuming to see him.
Andy, "He needs to go, I don't want him here," she told her father
Pruitt took andy into another room tried to talk to her hoping for her to tell him what happened but she was too wide up so he let her go.
Andy left the house she needed to calm down.
An hour passed and she was back home hoping Aidrain was gone but he wasn't.
Andy; "why are you still here, please leave"
The two men were confused as to why she didn't want to know aidrain.
Aidrain; "Why, why don't you want to see me we were going to get married what happened".
Andy; "you what happened sleeping with my friend on our wedding day",
Aidrain; "So Ryan finally told you, come on baby it was my stag do and I had a bit to drink".
What he said shocked her but she didn't know what part was worse her best friend knowing or the fact that it was wasn't the first time he had done this.
Andy; "I saw you with Helen at our wedding together in bed an hour before we said our vows. But I guess it wasn't the first time".
I told many time on the phone leave me alone I want nothing to do with you.
Aidrain said he was sorry then he left. Considering how much she had been through she kept it together.
With a lot of thinking andy agreed to have baby Alex a few days a week, although she would be working as well she had a plan and she needs Robert to agree with her before it all happens.
Robert agreed and he was grateful that this woman is willing to help him.
