Andy couldn't help but miss Alex when she wasn't with him. She had been with them for a month and a half now. With Robert off and Alex in a good routine, he didn't need andy although they did miss her too.
Robert loved being able to spend time with his son a few times he caught a little smile on his little face but getting it on camera was never easy.
He was offered a place at baby swim, it's usually that mother's and babies go but fathers are also welcome. Robert thought it was a good idea but he was nervous about going alone so he sends a message to ask Andy if she could come along with them.
Andy; sure send me the day and time and ill be there". She replied
Robert; it's on a Thursday but you'll be here Wednesday night with the baby any way I just wanted to ask. That way you can bring your swim things.
Andy; she smiled sure I'll put it in.
Robert didn't have work till later on a Wednesday so when andy went to look after Alex he would b there.
Robert saw how excited Alex got when he saw andy.
Andy; "hello baby, how are you" she started talking to the baby and Robert saw him smiling again.
Andy; "look at you a big boy that starting to smile". Again Robert tried getting a photo of him smiling but still didn't manage to get one.
Andy; "how's he been, have you been keeping to the routine". She finally spoke to Robert.
Robert; "he's been fine he skips his 2 am feed and wakes up at 5 am so it's going well he just has a big feed at 5".
Andy; "that's good have you wrote the new times down for me so I can go along".
Robert; "not yet but he's feeding every four hours and on his last feed he'll have a big feed. And I've been trying to get a smiling photo for a week now so if you can get a photo of him smiling please send it to me".He laughs.
Andy; "good I'll go along with what you've done".
Roberts work shift was quiet and passed quick with no big calls, he returned home to a quiet house andy and Alex was snuggled together in her bed both awake just chilling watching something on tv.
He couldn't help but watch on as they snuggle together. Adventureley he opened the door wider to go into them.
Andy; "hey I didn't hear you come in, how was work".
Robert, "it's been quiet with little fire calls. How's little man been".
Andy; "he's been good and slept well like a good boy. He's just had a feed so we are having morning cuddles. She said smiling.
Robert; "good I'm going to get a couple of hours of sleep before going swimming." He told her.
Andy; "I'm going to take a trip to the shop to get some swim nappy for Alex".
Robert said ok and went to his room. Andy and Alex took a walk into the shops when she bumps into her father.
Pruitt; "now this is what I want to see, my daughter pushing a baby around in a pram. although I want it to be my grandchild and not a baby she's looking after".
Andy; "ain't going to happen dad", she said smiling.
Pruitt; "where are you both off to, why do you still have him when Robert is back from work".
Andy; "we taking him swimming later and he needs a swimming nappy and Robert is having a few hours of sleep".
Pruitt; "Nice well I shall walk with you both," he said.
Pruitt hoped that he'll be a grandfather one day and he'll be around to see them grow up, he knows andy would make a perfect mother to her children but he also knew that day won't be yet.
