After they spoke about andy adopting Alex they went to the adoption centre to get the process started.
For Andy, it was a straightforward process she filled the forms and Robert did his part in almost three hours.
Once they finished at the office they took a walk, Robert knew something was on Andy's mind so he was hoping she would open up
While they still Alex free still.
Robert; talk to me, what on your mind.
Andy; it's probably silly but have you notice that Alex doesn't want to come to me and when I try to pick him up he screams the house down.
Unfortunately, Robert has noticed this but he thought it's nothing
Robert; yeah, I have seen but maybe it's nothing, maybe it's because I'm working too much and he's hasn't seen me much
They both knew he wasn't right with Robert more or fewer hours he still didn't take much notice
It had been four weeks since they signed the forms for andy to adopt Alex. The women on the desk said the process would take up to two weeks
Andy; why hasn't it come yet she asks Robert
Robert; I don't know babe maybe it's just taking a little longer than they expected.
She was getting frustrated not only about the official documents but also Alex still refusing to go to her. He wants his daddy all the time and it's killing her.
Robert watched her as he picked Alex up to stop him from crying. He could tell she was hurting. He's never done this before he loves andy more than him most of the time but they were both confused as to why he didn't want Andy.
He walked over to her with Alex still in his arms
Robert; hey, I don't know what's up with him but he'll get over it, you know he loves you
Andy; what if he dont Robert, what if he doesn't love me? What if I adopted him for nothing because he hates me.
Robert; your over exaggerating now we both know he loves you and I know he'll be happy for you to bring him up as his mummy
Andy; he loves me that much that he won't even come to me she said not wanting to talk more about the conversation.
Andy took a walk hoping it'll help but deep down she just misses cuddling her baby boy. The times he wakes up in the night just for extra cuddles she couldn't help but find a quiet place just to let all her emotions out
Ryan saw her in a distance and went over to her.
Ryan; hey stranger not seen you in a few weeks how it going.
Andy; was going great but now going shit
Andy was glad to bump into him.
He sat down next to her
Ryan; spill what happened.
Andy; I've agreed to adopt Alex and now he refusing to come to me. It hurts so much that he doesn't want to come to me. Also, I'm pregnant as well
Ryan; well he probably knows that your pregnant baby senses these things before we do but he loves you and by the time you get home I bet he'll be waiting for you.
Andy; it's been a month Ryan.
They talked for a while then she decides to go home
She had been gone for a half-hour when she returned Robert was playing with Alex on the floor.
She went to walk away but Robert told her to join them.
Andy; he won't like it, Robert, all he'll do is cry and I can't deal with it anymore all I want to do is pick him up and cuddle him
Robert; I know baby but come and see. If not you can cuddle me instead he was trying to make her smile but it didn't work.
