Andy didn't want Robert to leave so he told her he would sleep in the chair beside her. She didn't like that Idea she wanted to be in his arms so she moved on the bed making room for him. Robert laid on the bed and Andy laid so her head was on his chest
Being in Roberts's arms is where she felt safe and right now that is where she needed to be. Robert didn't sleep much but he didn't care as long as andy was comfortable that's all that's matters.
He was relaxed as he listened to his daughter's heartbeat almost falling asleep when the doctors came in turning off the monitors for the night.
Nurse; "you should try and get some sleep, sir."
But by the time Robert had closed his eyes, it was time for the nurse to come in with Andy's breakfast
Robert spent another hour with andy then he left to get some sleep knowing that Pruitt and ben were going to see her with Alex. As he walks down the corridor Robert spotted a baby grow that he fell in love with it's pink with the 100% daddy's little princess he had to get he also saw a boys onesie for Alex 100% mummies prince. He knew andy would love this.
Once Robert got home he didn't make it to his bed he sat on the couch with a glass of water within seconds he fell straight asleep the water had gone all over him but sleep got the best of him and he didn't notice.
At the hospital, Andy was happy to see Alex who has been keeping his godfather on his toes since he's had him.
Alex; "mumm mumm"
Ben; "he's been saying it since I picked him up and shaking his head when I asking him to say ben," he said laughing
Andy; "mum sound better doesn't it baby," she said as she fat Alex on her knee
Alex shook his head again which made them all laugh.
Pruitt; "when are you allowed to go home, maybe it's best if you stay with me for a while to get plenty of rest". He seems a little mad at Robert as he ain't around and that he blamed him for andy being in hospital.
Andy; "I should be home tomorrow baby moving a lot now again I don't want to stay at your I'm fine with Robert and Alex"
Pruitt; "but you need your rest and no stress".
Andy; "I won't get my rest there I want to be in my bed with Robert and I won't be stressed as I'll be with my family"
Pruitt didn't like what andy had to say.
Alex; "mumm mumm"
The midwife came round and did her daily checks on Andy
Midwife; "the baby is active and your water infection is about gone so I don't see why not, you can't go home". With this Andy was glad that she didn't have to spend another night in hospital.
Andy; "that'll be great."
Midwife; "alright I'll sort the paperwork out and you can go. But please remember you heavy pregnant don't go doing too much you need to rest listen to your father."
While waiting for the midwife to come back andy packed her stuff ready she didn't message Robert she wants to surprise him but she was also thinking about what her father and midwife had said.
Going to stay with her fathers she wouldn't be on her own as much as she would be with Robert as he still has to work and she'll still be able to have Alex but she will completely miss Robert
Ben drove them all back to Robert house as she came into the house she found him on the sofa fast asleep. She bent down at the side of him and kissed his cheek he stirred but didn't wake up so she kissed again then whispered something in his ear.
Robert opened his eyes and smiled what are you doing here "how are you back" he said confused
Andy; "the midwife said I can come home so ben brought me home as he brought Alex to visit," she said smiling
Robert gently pulled her down on the sofa so she was laying in his arms
Robert; "how are you both, he asked rubbing her tummy."
Andy; "we are both fines she hasn't stopped kicking or moving since she started again."
Robert was still sleepy do you want me to leave you to sleep I'll go to my dads for a few hours, she knew how tired he must be as the nurse told her he was awake all night making sure she and the baby were all ok.
Robert; "no it's fine unless you want to."
Pruitt; "how about I take Alex for a few hours so you both can get some rest". Pruitt hoped that Robert would talk to andy about staying with him they agreed a couple of nights a week Alex can stay with them but it's going to be busy at the station and Pruitt dont want andy staying her own.
They both agreed for Pruitt to take Alex.
Once they goodbyes to Alex and Pruitt, Robert wanted to show andy something.
Robert; "come with me for a minute taking her hand and going up the stairs"
"I've stripped and washed the walls, if you choose a colour for the room I'll decorate it but while I do it I want you to stay with your father you'll see me most days and Alex can stay a few nights but because of the paint fumes is not good for the baby. While your resting you can order the baby stuff cot baby unit whatever you think our daughter needs just not the pushchair because I want to be there as well although I think we need a double for her and Alex."
Andy still didn't like the idea but she had no choice to agree.
Andy; "I'll agree in one condition"
Robert; "what's that"
Andy; "you stay a night or two with me."
Robert agreed as he wrapped his arms around her come on let's go and lay down on the bed
They laid down on their bed but they weren't tired anymore andy moved her hand up and down Robert rubbing her hand over his penis which was still in his pants.
Robert; "Andy, please. You need the rest"
Andy; "I'll lie here while you do everything to me," she said with a mischievous smile
Robert still refused "I ain't doing that could harm the baby," he said moving her hand away from his slight hard penis.
Andy; How can your tongue and your hands do any harm" she laughed
Robert; "the answer is still no."
Andy gave up trying she laid on her side facing how Robert was and they talked for a while. Andy wanted to marry Robert a month after the baby is born if all goes well.
Robert; "well that another thing that'll keep you busy while at your dads plan some wedding invitations." He said kissing her.
Andy's belly was against Robert when he felt the baby kick.
Andy; "I guess our baby girl did not like it because you're sending us away"
He felt guilty for sending her away but it was in her best interest and Andy knew it
They packed a couple of for Andy and then driver to Pruitt
Andy; "baby's bedroom a nice pale pink with a mini mouse."
Robert smiled ok so I'll go to the store tomorrow and pick up the paint.
Andy; "thank you she said smiling."
Robert spent a few hours with andy and Alex then he went home to make a start on the nursery before he knew it was time for him to sleep with a goodnight message to Andy then fell asleep.
