"It's Helen, what the hell is she doing here," she thought.
Back in Miami when andy met Helen
When andy took the detective job at Miami p.d. Was the first time she met Helen. Helen showed her around took her to her office. She was also her partner
They became close friends from the start.
She had a flashback,
Helen; "Adrian really likes you, you should give him a chance. He's one of the good guys"
Andy; " I don't know whether I want to right now I do like him but..
Helen; " No buts just go and talk to him. oh by the way don't look now but he's walking over to us"
Andy; " crap I hate you she said smiling at her friend.
That night was when she and Adrian got together with help from Helen.
Back to present
The captain didn't see Andy standing there by the closed door so she walks back to daycare.
She heard Alex crying so she took him off the nursery worker and started bouncing him making sure he had his dummy. She sat in the corner on a big cushion with the baby. She didn't know why but coming to see the baby calmed her down.
At this point, she wanted to hear Roberts voice she sighs "I best go and show my face baby" she said to a sleeping Alex who is now fast asleep with his hand clenched onto her top.
She got up putting him on the huge cushion and his blanket over him. Then she told the worker where Alex was.
As andy walked back to her office she gets a message
Robert-andy; missing you loads only 5 more days then I hope you can get a week off so I can spend it with you.
She smiled
Andy- Robert; I miss you loads too and it can be arranged.
Putting her phone back in her pocket and knocked on the door and went in
Captain stone; "here she is I've just been talking about you. Come in Andrea"
Helen didn't know who Andrea was until she turned around and saw andy standing there she was surprised.
Helen; "Andy it's good to see you"
Helen didn't know if andy knew about her and Adrian but from the looks and the way andy spoke to her it was obvious
Captain stone; "you know each other, that brilliant. Now how shall we work you both working together?"
Andy; "she can cover me while I take some time off, then when I get back we'll sort the rest out."
Captain stone; "some more time, you have barely been here."
Andy; "I'm looking after Alex on my own."
Captain stone; "And how is that gorgeous baby boy of yours is he here, please I want more cuddles with him."
Helen; "you have a baby"
Captain stone; "she does, you should meet him."
Helen; "yeah I would like that."
Andy; "he's in daycare asleep, so I won't bring him up."
Andy walked back to her office shut the door laid on the couch only to be disturbed a few minutes later.
Helen; "I guess you know"
Andy; "know what?"
Helen; "about me and Adrian, I guess Ryan told you when he caught us, the night before your wedding."
