Since they've been back from their weekend away it's like something has changed between them, it's like the weekend they spent together have brought them much tighter together.
They decide to move Alex into his room as he's now old enough to. Which shocked them both as he settled better in his room.
This meant no interruption for andy and Robert. The first night they put Alex into his own they did panic but they had a video monitor so they could see he was fine
That night and a few nights after they didn't get much sleep wanting each other all night
It had been 5 weeks since their weekend away
Andy; "Today, little man while daddy is at work we need to go shopping. It daddy's day on Sunday."
Alex listened and gave her lots of smiles.
It would Roberts first father's day and she wanted to make it special for him.
Getting ready to go she also had thought of buying something for her father.
She looked around the shops and she no idea what to get her father but for Robert she got a t-shirt set daddy and daddy's boy. She got him a cup with happy 1st father day daddy love Alex. A photo frame with 1st father love your boy she thought of putting the photo of them both fast asleep on the sofa twinning on how they both sleep. And a key chain says you the best.
She knew that Robert is off on Sunday so she booked a table at the restaurant near them and she was going to get her father to join them.
Still undecided on what to get her father she went home so she could think.
While Alex was sleeping Andy wrapped the presents and put them away.
Robert spent most of his shift talking with Pruitt he was asking how the weekend went.
Robert; sir it went great, perfect in fact. I love her so much
Pruitt; by the looks of it, she loves you too. I've noticed how happy she is. And her and Alex bond is so beautiful. I know I've warned you to never hurt her and I stick by that but your doing a great job of making my daughter happy. If only you could make me a grandfather again that'll be the best father's day present
Robert laughed
Robert; we had that talk a few weeks ago but andy said not yet
Pruitt; is she on birth control
Robert; I think she takes the pill
He didn't know, a while ago they would have breakfast then take her pill but now he hasn't seen her do that. Come to think about what he thought when they went away not once did he saw her take it then. Maybe she on different birth control he thought
They spoke for a while when they saw andy coming into the station so they quickly changed the conversation
Andy; what have done for you both to be talking about me. She said smiling
Robert; I was just saying what a beautiful weekend we had.
Andy wrapped her arms around Robert
Andy; it was and I wish we could it again soon and kissed him
Pruitt; I was saying you best made me a grandbaby
Andy; plenty of time for that dad. She said smiling
Dad we've decided to go out for dinner on Sunday as it fathers day will you come too.
Pruitt; as long as you announce that there's a baby then yes. He joked.
Andy; well, either way, make sure you there.
Robert had a break so he spent it with Andy and Alex.
Andy; I'm back at work tomorrow
Robert; is that a good thing or a bad thing
Andy; I don't know
Andy used to love her job but since meeting Robert and Alex they have change mind in so many ways
Robert; well if you agree to have my baby it'll only be a desk job and you'll get at least a year off
Andy; do you seriously want another baby... With me
Robert; I've told you I do, I love you so much and I don't think it's too early. But I don't want to rush you.
Andy; well you best hope that one of your tadpoles hit the jackpot then she said smiling
Robert; what does that supposed to mean
Andy kissed him and picked Alex up to put him in the pram kissed Robert goodbye and left the station.
He stood on the spot and watched her walk away she still felt him watching her so she turned around and smiled at him
When Robert came home from work they never mention the conversation.
Andy had plenty of time to think about the baby conversation the very first one she had with her father and then knowing Robert wants more children is good.
2 days away from father day and still no idea of things for her dad.
Robert; any idea for your dad yet?
Andy; nothing I want to get him something as I missed two years as we weren't talking.
Hey listen I need to go somewhere tomorrow morning would be able to have Alex it'll only take a max of two hours
Robert; ok what you got to do couldn't we come with you.
Andy; next time she said and I just need to pick a few things up.
Robert; so they'll be a next time you'll be going there
Andy; she smiled maybe. I've decided to try Alex with a bit of baby porridge he's 5 and half months and he's getting hungry more after his bottle. I thought you here now we'll try him together.
Andy loves doing a new thing with Alex but she loves doing it when Robert is around so he won't miss anything either.
Putting him in his chair and then giving him a little bit at first. His little face at first all scrunched up. It made Andy and Robert laugh then they gave him a little bit.
The second spoon was much better as he never spits any out and then licked his lips for some.
Andy; I guess your liking this hey baby, here you take over while I check his bottle.
Once Alex has enough of the porridge he had his bottle.
Like andy said she gone for two hours Robert wanted to know where she went so she told him she went to get a photo on a cup and showed him it was for her father it was the only thing she could think of.
As they put Alex to bed they decide to bath together and go sleep to
Andy woke early getting Alex in his vest that says daddy boy got his bottle and they both went to wake Robert up.
Passing Alex to Robert so she could get his father day present on the wardrobe and giving them to him.
Robert loved all his present and decide to wait for their lunch to wear his t-shirt
At the restaurant, Andy handed Robert and Pruitt and card together they open it.
Robert was confused he already had a card from Alex so he wondered what it was. He opened and he couldn't help but pull her into a hug kissing. And say "thank you"
Pruitt started to read what it said ello... This made Pruitt shed a tear.
