As tears still fell down his face he read the word out loud again
Pruitt; "hello grandad, he stood up wrapping his arms around his daughter. Thank you" he whispered
The card had a baby scan photo on the front that says hello grandad on Pruitt and hello daddy on Roberts
Everyone was watching as they all made a fuss over andy hugging her and wiping happy tears away.
Pruitt; "IM GOING TO BE A GRANDAD" he shouts to everyone they all cheered and congratulated them
Once Pruitt let go of his daughter Robert wrapped his arms around andy and whispered I guess my tadpoles did hit the jackpot then. She couldn't help but laugh
Andy; "by that point, I already knew one did".
Robert; "I love the surprise but how long have you known".
Andy; "I'm 7 weeks and I've known for 2 weeks."
He puts his arms around her again and this time kisses her.
Robert; "I love you so much."
Andy; "I love you so much too."
They all finally calms down and eats their dinner.
Pruitt was very quiet for the rest of the dinner the reality of him having cancer and his grandchild on the way kept him thinking that he might not be around for when he/she is born. And now it's more harder for him to tell Andy.
Dropping Pruitt off at his home then going home back to Robert's house bathed Alex and Andy laid on the sofa with him after he had his bottle. They both fell asleep
He watched as they fell asleep together, he didn't think he would find anyone that would share his life with, he thought because he is a single dad it'll be hard to find someone to love them both. Until he met this beautiful woman
Andy Herrera has certainly made him open his eyes. Watching her with Alex made him smile. He hasn't opened up about some of his journey with Alex but there were times where he almost gave up because he couldn't do it. He struggled like any other parent would on their own.
He almost gave Alex up tell everyone he couldn't cope. This was when Alex cried none stop, wouldn't sleep he almost gave up.
Friends would try and help but it was worthless Support group didn't understand that he wouldn't sleep.
Then Andy came into their life's and in an instant changed it for the better
He wants more than anything for andy to be his wife. She already said yes but they were in the middle of making love wasn't really the perfect time to ask her but he felt like he needs to.
He sat and happy tears fell down his face, what did he do to deserve this beautiful woman, that loves him and his son loads that would give him another chance to be a father.
He was brought out of his thought when he saw andy form coming towards him she had put a pillow at the side of Alex and walk over to him. He is sitting in an armchair so she sits on his knee curling herself up to get closer kissing his cheek.
Words didn't need to be spoken as she knew he is happy. But she let him know that she loves his loads.
Andy; "I hope you know I love you so much."
Robert; "words can't describe how much you mean to me I love you so much too."
He pulled her closer kissing her, moving his hands under her top to play with her breast. Then he pulled the top over her head undoing her bra as they carried on kissing. Her hands made their way to his trousers undoing them and opening the bottom to his boxers freeing his hard penis, rubbing it up and down with her hands
She got off him so he could pull his trousers off then did the same to her. She sat back on him and let him enter her. After they made love they just sat there in each other arms never wanting to speak or move. Their happy place is where each other is.
Finally deciding to move they put some half of their clothes on. Picked Alex sleeping form up and went to bed.
As they laid in bed close together they spoke a little about the baby.
Robert; "I can't believe you surprised me with the news of having another baby."
Andy; "it sounds silly but are you really happy about having another baby."
Robert; "I very sure, baby thank you for making me happier than I've ever been."
Andy; "tell me about you and Claire how did she tell you she was pregnant."
Robert; "there was a time where we were happy and very sex active we had spoken about children and every time she knocked me down she was taking the pill and one evening she came home from work pissed of with me. At this point, I didn't know what for then I asked her for something so she told me it was in her bag."
"I went and looked in her bag and found a scan photo saying she was 9 weeks I couldn't believe she was pregnant and having my baby then as I was still searching I found an appointment card in two days she was going to get rid of my baby."
Andy held him a little tighter trying to fight back her tears.
Robert; "I did everything I could to change her mind I even said I would pay her a million pounds if she kept him and when he was born if she still felt the same then she can leave us but just don't get rid of my child."
"As the pregnancy grew she hated me more. Saying she wished she never agreed and that she hated me. I slept on the couch until it got nearer to her due date then I laid in the bed."
"I brought everything clothes, soft toys, a pram cot, Moses basket, he hasn't worn anything with my mummy loves me, it was always. I love my daddy, my daddy loves me."
Andy; "well just so you know his mummy does love him. I love our son."
Robert; "and our son loves you."
Their conversation finished Robert had fallen asleep and andy laid there awake thinking about him and Alex. Roberts hand never moved from her stomach.
A couple of weeks
While Robert was working andy went into the police station told them about her pregnancy and they let her go that day shell be doing desk duty and she'll start Monday.
Before Robert went to work he stopped by the store and decide to get a little outfit he then went somewhere else before going home.
It was his turn to bathe Alex so what's better than to get him a new bedtime set.
He got home just in time to bathe, while he bathed and got Alex ready for bed Andy got his bottle ready.
Robert; "erm I think he needs his nappy changed" passing him to andy
Andy; "come on then baby as she took him upstairs to change him"
She unclipped his baby grow and read his new vest that Robert had brought it says
Will you marry my daddy?
Robert was behind her on one knee holding a ring box as she turned around she saw him there.
She pulled him wrapping her arms around him kissing him.
Robert; "so what do you say?"
Andy; "I'd say it's a better way to ask me than before and but my answer is still yes."
"We need to stop doing these surprises on each other."
Robert; "this will be the last one I promise he said smiling."
