Andy laid awake listening to Alex chattering to himself for a little while before he got a little restless, so she got up and went into his room where she found him standing in his cot.
Andy; "Robert Robert"
Robert thought something was wrong with the baby as the way she shouts him out of his sleep he rushes to see what was going on.
Robert; "alright what's wrong, where are you" as he couldn't make out where she was still half asleep
Andy; "I'm in Alex's room" she shouts
As he walks into his room seeing his smiling little boy standing up in his cot.
Robert; "wow look at you, you're such a clever boy" as he walks over to kiss the little boy on the forehead.
They couldn't believe he stood up in his cot their little boy is thriving on his milestone. They picked him up and hugged him tightly
they decide to take Alex to the beach. Alex loves playing in the sand and sea.
They would build a sandcastle encouraging Alex to put the sand in the bucket. He tried so hard to make the sand go in the bucket the same just kept tipping off the spade
They spent the morning at the beach then went home so Alex could nap.
Andy laid on the sofa moving her fingers on her bump she's a little worried as she hadn't felt the baby all day.
Robert; "Everything alright," he asked as he put his hand on her stomach
Andy; "yes, she's just sleeping". Andy didn't want to worry Robert at this point if she hasn't felt the baby move by the time they go to bed then she'll tell him.
He laid down with her on the couch kissing her
Andy; "you know we won't get time to have sex baby will be awake soon"
Robert; "I know but I wasn't thinking that this time."
Andy; "ok so what are you thinking about then," she said sitting up a little.
Robert; "I've been thinking about setting a date for the wedding."
Andy; "okay when are you thinking as I'm 26 weeks pregnant now"
Robert; "I want to marry you tomorrow but I know you want to plan it."
It took a few seconds for Andy to answer
Andy; "I do too but you know what I want to plan it and have Alex walk down the aisle with me, he's almost there but these few days later have been thinking of putting it on hold till baby comes then we'll have photos of Alex and baby A in at our wedding and in photos."
To Robert, it felt like andy didn't want to marry him as she keeps wanting to push the wedding back.
Robert; "Alright he said as he sat up checking his phone.
I need to nip to the station to fill some papers I'll be two hours max" he told her as he kissed her.
While Alex was still sleeping andy got his dinner ready she going to try him with some mashed up vegetables and a bit of meat.
Again as she went into Alex he was standing up getting excited as his mummy had appeared in the doorway.
She sat Alex in his chair to give him a few spoons full but Alex didn't want the mashed food not even to try.
Giving him his bottle and laid him down the baby soon took his milk. Once he had drunk his milk the little boy was on the ago again playing with his toys crawling around. He got to the table that was in the middle of the floor and pulled himself up. Chuffed that he was standing against the table hitting the table to get his mummies attention who was doing something.
