He was happy, right?

Lena was doing better.

It's been two weeks. The first week was rough. It was fresh; everything was. Katsuki's new relationship included.

She was different. She was grieving. She wasn't as bright as she was, and not even metaphorically. She didn't sleep well, didn't eat well and didn't train herself nearly as much as she should. She was losing colour in her face- no longer the suns core for the class.

She was desperately trying. She needed to prove to everyone and herself that this was only a minor step back.

And she did. She got better. The incident still hurt, but she knows it wasn't her fault. The man was behind bars, and she could now move forward. She focused on herself only, trying to keep her thoughts of Katsuki at bay. It was difficult when so many things in her house reminded her of him.

But she found herself more close with Todoroki- if that could be possible- and she spent a lot of time with his family.

It was different. He was different. He wasn't like her usual friends, she never really spent time with introverted people.

He's a listener. Lena could talk for hours and he'll still be engaged. The small times he takes ahold of the talking, he's surprisingly funny and has a lot to say about everything.

Today was one of those days Lena needed him around. She's spent her fourth night in a row home. While scourging around her desk for a pen she lost, she came across a polaroid of her and Katsuki, and that small picture was enough to ruin her day. All of the photos she had with him up on her walls, and any other reminder of him was put away in her closet.

She called Todoroki up. She considered Mina and Kaminari, but she really needed to relax and the last thing she could do with those two was relax.

"Hey, Shoto." She started, nervously. For the last couple days she wondered if she was too much of a bother.

"Oh thank God you called, Lena. My fathers been on my ass all fucking day." He groaned. Lena giggled, he picked up speech patterns and mannerisms from her and she couldn't have found it funnier.

"Wanna go to the library? Maybe a cute study date?" She offered, remembering that their finals are just around the corner. Summer break, she couldn't wait.

"Yeah. Meet there?"

"I'll get coffees. Wear green." She hung up the phone and went to get ready with a big smile on her face.

She ignored when her mind flashed to the times she studied with Katsuki in the library.

She wondered if she'd ever talk to him. It's been almost a month- and they couldn't have exchanged more than 10 words.

Pushing him away from her thoughts, she got ready in the colour she promised Todoroki. Just a pleated skirt and oversized green knitted sweater. It was all very causal, as she would be spending the day on her ass all day.

She picked up awhite purse matching her skirt and added a white shoe before she made her way to cafe and then to the library, seeing Todoroki waiting for her at the entrance. They found an empty corner and laid out all their books, exchanging very few words as the hours flew by.

She thought her eyes would start bleeding before Todoroki proposed they got lunch together. Eager to take a break, they left and started waking down the streets, figuring out where to eat.

Near a park they saw a food stand that piqued their interest. As they ordered and brought their food to a nearby table, their conversation readily started.
