Chapter Twenty-One

He's right here, in Hosu.

They put their phones away and she asked Todoroki to hop on her back. He reluctantly agreed, understanding they needed to reach their location before it too late. Lena activated her strength so she could easily carry him as well as her speed so they're faster, and she wouldn't need to use too much of her quirk. She sprouted her wings and flew up in the sky, speeding to the alleyway.

They flew down just to see Iida about to get stabbed, as well as Midoriya and another Hero laying on the ground, not moving to stop anything. Lena and Todoroki looked at each other and stopped the villain with their fire, saving Iida's life the minute they got there.

"Holy fuck, Deku. You three are about to die by the hands of the infamous Hero Killer and all you do is send your location?" Lena scoffs.

"We were almost too late to save him." Todoroki finishes, his left side flaming.

"You guys as well?" Iida cries from the ground.

"How'd you get here?" Midoriya asked.

"We were in the city, patrolling. Lena flew us here when we got your message."

"The flaming double duo is here to help!" Lena laughs, clearly used to being in serious situations and not stressing about the fact that they're in front of someone who Pro's fear.

"We figured you'd be in trouble."

"I don't know why you're just fucking laying there, but let us two handle this. Sho, go!" He steps down and covers the alleyway in ice, lifting the three injured Heroes up. They sent continuous fire attacks that the Hero Killer just dodged, not phased by the multiple fireballs or streams being thrown.

"You're not taking anymore lives on our fucking watch!" Lena growls, getting ready to end the long distance and pounce on him with her glowing fists.

"Don't let him get your blood! I think he freezes people after ingesting their blood!"

"That explains the blades. Well, I could easily keep my distance."

"No fair! I wanted to fist fight!" She complains as she gets a knife thrown at her. She dodged that one easily but when Stain came to jump on her with another, it was Todoroki's ice that blocked her first.

What the didn't notice or even think of was how skilled Stain was. He threw a long sword that was angled to hit Lena first, but then should perfectly hit Todoroki too. Lena was able to jerk her head just enough to miss the blade, but it did graze Todoroki's cheek, just being able to draw blood. Just as Stains long tongue was gonna reach the open wound Todoroki burned his left side, and burned Stains tongue too.

Lena heard Iida's struggling whines, so she went down to calm him. "Why are you doing this!? It's my fight. I inherited my brothers name!"

"Wait, so you're Ingenium now? That's kinda funny. The Ingenium I knew never had that stupid look on his face." Lena laughed, before jumping back to protect Shoto when Stain just completely chopped up Todoroki's full ice attack.

"Come get me, Hero Killer." Todoroki growled. Stain threw two blades and landed them in each of their arms. Lena was distracted by Iida and Todoroki was prepping an attack, but they both stopped their doings to treat themselves. Lena pulled the knife out and had no choice but to lick her own blood off the blade. She regenerated her wound and got rid of any blood trace.

Stain had to retreat his attack now that there was no blood, and decided to act as if he was going to hit Todoroki, but instead went for Native, the Hero helplessly stuck frozen on the ground.

Midoriya was finally back to being useful and jumped up to drag the Hero Killer away from taking another Hero's life.

"Deku's moving now, but the others still aren't....Stain has a limit on his quirk," Lena mumbled to herself.
