"Maybe in her wildest dreams, because in her reality, a relationship with him would never happen."

Lena sat in her usual seat fiddling with her coffee cup as she drowned out Aizawa's monotone voice explaining how school will start back up again.

They have returned from the Sports Festival, and everyone who was injured was now properly healed thanks to Recovery Girl's handy quirk. Although physically healed, Lena was still trying to recover from Ayatu's pop up.

She couldn't figure out if he was present in the stadium, or if he was just a figment of her imagination. The latter was the more possible option, especially because she was thinking of him prior, but it threw her off with how real it all was.

Katsuki was still mad at her for throwing the battle and refused to mention it even after Lena returned his well deserved gold medal.

He also never mentioned the afternoon they spent together. She didn't mind. He said he wanted her to forget what he said, but she found herself thinking about him more and more.

Aizawa talked about internships, yet she still didn't pay much attention. She was already aware everything, and was just deciding what hero she should choose.

After all, everyone must want her?

She wanted to think that, but she doesn't like failure, and she failed herself in front of everyone.

She tried reassuring herself, getting the thoughts of failure out of her head. Just because she lost once does not mean she will lose forever.

Aizawa explained the rankings of the students. Todoroki was in the lead, with Lena following shortly after.

She scoffed. She beat him.

Katsuki talked to her first, which doesn't happen often. Leaning sideways, he remarked, "Lower than him? Sheesh. Maybe the heroes didn't like that attitude of yours."

She gave him no more than a glance, "You won the festival and are lower than him and I, by quite the significant amount as well." She paused for a moment, "and I'm a woman. Too young for most to prey on so there's not much else really going for me in their eyes."

He muttered a few incoherent curses before sliding back down into his seat. He can't respond to the misogyny card.

As Aizawa's handed out the list of heroes that has offered each student a spot as intern, Lena's eyes went straight to the top. She was expecting a top 10 to ask for her, but didn't think it would be the 2nd.

Endeavor.

She grimaced and could possibly gag at the thought of interning under him and taking his orders. She skimmed the first page, but in the back of her head she already knew he would be her pick.

She had to look at it professionally instead of personally. He wouldn't chose her just to mock her- she doesn't think he's that much of a dick.

He is the 2nd ranked, and has a quirk similar to her own. She can learn from him, as much as she hates to admit it.

She will intern with him, and hope that she can last 5 days without trying to kill him.

She circled his name and handed her booklet of names back to Aizawa. Without looking up from his papers, he said, "I'm assuming you chose Endeavor?"

She rolled her eyes. It was annoying having someone who knows you so well. "Mhm."

"Good choice."

"I wouldn't have made it if it was bad."

"Back to your seat, Lena." He looked up at her just to roll his eyes. She flashed him a toothy grin and went back.

She took out a notebook and started studying her notes for the test they have coming up. As she worked, she tried to think if she'll be interning with anyone else.
