Chapter Four

"You thought wrong Ayatu, I will be a hero."

Beep, beep, beep.

"Fuck! I'm going to be late for my first day!" It was true, she got a small amount of sleep last night thinking about Ayatu. She had one hour to get ready, which isn't enough. She hopped into the shower and was finished ten minutes later. Drying her hair took too long of a time, really needing a haircut. She scrambled to get onto her uniform and tie her hair up messily.

She actually really enjoys living alone. There's no rules, and although that sounds terrible for someone who is irresponsible, Lena has grown to be very independent. She has a job and has enough money for rent, basic living necessities and whatever more she could need. She does get help for both Mina and Kirishimas parents, as well as the Heroes that her mother and father were very close with. She won't ask for help herself, but it comes to her whether she likes it or not.

She sat down on her couch with a bowl of cereal, eating it fast so she could make it to school on time. The walk to U.A was ten minutes, and school started in 20. She met up with Mina and Kirishima at their usual coffee shops and got their usual drinks, this time Lena requested to double up on the espresso. They walked to U.A silently. One was nervous, one was excited, and the other was ready to dominate the school.

"So this is it, huh?" Kirishima commented.

"Let's go guys!" Mina jumped. And so, they walked in.

"Why does this door have to be so damn big?" She stated.

"Maybe there's giants!" Kirishima joked.

"You're just short," Mina smirked.

"Hey! You bitch." They all laughed.

"Alright guys, lets go!" Kirishima fist pumped into the air.

They all walked in together. The chatter that was in the classroom quieted down. It wasn't just because they were new students. Something about the aura of them all together has heads snapping everywhere they go.

"Look! More students!" A bubbly brunette hollered. She walked up to them.

"Hi I'm Ochaco Uraraka!"

"Hey, I'm Eijirou Kirishima!"

"I'm Mina Ashido, but go ahead and call me Mina."

"I'm Lena Ayana, but i prefer being called Lena." She smiled. Now is the opportunity to make more friends. She wasn't really friendly with her middle school pals.

While they talked, Lena felt eyes on her. She stalked the classroom to find them. She saw a bi coloured hair at the back of the classroom, a boy with blonde hair who currently faced the back of the class as he was talking to a pretty female with black hair. She spotted a tall man with glasses who seemed to be scaring a little boy with green hair, and then him. She locked eyes with the same ash blonde she seems to see everywhere.

But when his eyes locked onto hers, he looked away. She scoffed, pitiful. No point at staring someone down if you aren't prepared to get caught. If you do, you just look stupid looking away.

She nudged at her two best friends and quickly told them that was the boy who bumped into me, and stole her points. They both simultaneously winked at her, while she rolled her eyes. Nothing to wink at. This man seems to be pissing her off in any way he could.

"Hey you! The one with the red hair!" Lena and Eijirou both looked over at the voice. "You're the one who got 87 battle points and 23 rescue points!" The man with glasses came up to them, kindly greeting Mina and Uraraka as well.

"Oh yeah, the name is Lena." She shrugs, but knows praise is coming.

"But rumour has it that you could've gotten in by recommendation?!" Some voice hollered, which she only laughed and shrugged at.
