"Yes!"

"Class, listen up!" Aizawa silences the ongoing chatter that started outside. "I'm happy that you all are happy, but you're in class and school hours have started. I need silence from you."

Everyone shuts up. Some pull out notebooks, others just wait for his next word.

"Next week is the Sports Festival. This will be the first time you participate, and I want you guys to win." The class erupts back into the chatter. The Sports Festival is a worldwide event and more anticipated than the Olympics. "You're biggest opponent is 1B, and I wont loose to Vlad."

"You have to prepare harder than ever, but I still need you to maintain grades..." He continued about the basics of it all.

Lena zones out. She doesn't really care about anything other than winning- which she is confident she will.

She turns to Katsuki, "I cant fucking wait."

He smirks, "Me neither."

Class 1A exited their waiting room. The air was thick with the added weight of Todoroki's declaration in front of everyone.

Midoriya wasn't taking it well. Nor was others. You can tell how nervous they get, and rightfully so. They're about to walk out in front of thousands of people that will be watching their every slip up.

Lena's shoulders were high in confidence, but still had her hands in her pockets in nonchalance. She wasn't nervous. She was ready to show the world who she was.

She asked Mic not to announce who she was, even though she is sure that people will piece it together immediately. She wants to be recognized as who she is, and not who her parents was. She figured Iida and Todoroki just struggle with the same thing.

The doors opened up and the class walked out onto the turf. Cheers for them were louder than the other classes. They were the class of the First Years.

The one who got attacked by villains. The targeted class. They had a lot to prove to the audience.

"Prepare to lose in the fucking finals." Katsuki shoves her and glares.

She quirks an eyebrow and a lip, "Funny how you think you'll make it."

He couldn't speak anymore because he was interrupted by the host of the events, Midnight. Along with the hollers about her, Lena cheered her name with a huge smile.

"The student representing the first years this year is our one and only Lena Ayana! The girl who could've gotten in by recommendation but chose to compete! With a total of 110 points, she was number one!" Whistles and roars from her classmates and the crowd erupted. "Accompanying her will be what we assume is her biggest rival. The two are always butting heads, and he scored second. Which would've granted him first place if Lena wasn't so stubborn. Katsuki Bakugou!" More mutters were heard than cheers. Katsuki isn't the type to "represent" his grade.

Katsuki gives Lena a triumphant grin when he walks onto the stage she just got onto.

He got to the mic first. What a bastard. "I pledge that I am going to win." He said, voice monotone. He responds to the negativity from the crowd with a, "It's not my fault you're all just stepping stones to my victory."
