"Little did the three know what the future months held for Lena."

"Welcome young Ayana, to your hero academia!" All Might announced on the hologram in her acceptance letter. She smiled, one step closer to her goal. It felt good to know that she deserved her position in the school, and that she didn't just get in through connections.

Her acceptance was still no surprise, but she called up her two friends anyways to break the news and ask if they got in as well. When both the responses were positive, they called for a celebration.

She showered quickly, playing her music as loud as she can. A perk about living alone, even if she has neighbours.

Drying her hair was always a struggle, the length and thickness making it a hassle. She did her morning 15 stretch that she despised, but had to do because she wants to be a hero or whatever.

Getting dressed, she threw on the baggiest pants she could find and a graphic tee. She let her hair down and did natural makeup with a pop of red on her lips and under her eyes.

Mina was the first to arrive at Lena's, walking in while Lena prepared breakfast for the three. She was the cook of the group, and maybe you could say the mom too even though she is definitely the most impulsive. Her place is the go-to hangout, and every time they go out she is prepared for the worst.

"How insane is it that we got into U.A? This is going to be so amazing!!" Mina squealed, hugging her friend who was busy over the stove top.

"It's gonna be great, I agree. Now could you call up Ei, he's fucking late." She scoffed. Quite hypocritical as she's late to everywhere she goes. As Mina made the phone call, Lena plated their breakfast and sat it at the table she only used when she wasn't alone.

Kirishima came running through the doors. "I was late because I was getting you coffee. Stop complaining." He set the drinks on the table and hugged the two girls, giving them kisses on the cheek. "I missed you girls."

"Shut up, it hasn't even been a week." Lena pushed him off, but gave a greetings kiss as well. Over the years they've grown family-like close, and with three physical touch love languages, they're all very affectionate. "Sit down, breakfast is ready."

As they sat and ate, they talked about what was on the schedule for the day.

"I think their closing that early spring fair tonight, wanna stop by now?" The fairs are always deserted by the last couple days and its the best when they have the park to themselves.

When they finished their food they made their way out, walking to the train station and stopping when they were in the area.

They paid their entry fee into the fairground and bought the ride tickets which were now half off. As they expected, the grounds were basically empty, and they were free to ride every ride without having to wait.

They spent 800 yen (just over $10) each on photo booth strips, taking tons to add to their collection. They bought treats and fairground food, and played tons of games and won plushies and toys.

They got a nice stranger to take pictures of them. If they had known they wanted to take pictures, they would've dressed for it. They were all in very different styles. Mina wore a purple skirt, a white tank top and a sheer purple cardigan. Kirishima wore ripped jeans and a tucked in floral button up that had half the buttons unbuttoned. Lena was in a huge shirt and huge pants. But nonetheless they came out cute and with a touch of editing, they were all posting them on their socials.

The sun was setting by the time they left, and finishing off the day with a little diner dinner was the best thing they could've done. It was the perfect day, and the last day for them to have fun and do anything together before school started.

While waiting for their food, they talked a bit about what they expected their school to be like, and how their classmates will be.

"Any cool quirks you saw during the exam?" Lena asked, taking a sip of her water.

"Some guy with a bird head had a shadow coming out of his stomach. It was weird but looked super powerful." Mina answered.

"I saw a girl who was acting like a frog. Chicks tongue was so long. Kinda scary." Eijirou added. "You mentioned that blonde guy again, did you see his quirk?"

"Explosions of some sort. He was strong too, as buff as you, Kiri."

"Competition, cute." He grinned, showing off his spiky teeth. "I bet that's something you're looking forward to. Competing with someone for top of the class."

"As if there will even be any competition." She grinned.

Mina looked confused while they were talking but soon piped up, "I could be confusing them with an animal or something but I think I saw someone crawling around. They had purple balls all over their head and around them. It was weird..."

When she made it back to her own house, she got quite the threatening text from Kirishima in their three person group chat.

Eijirou: we have one week. mina, this is more directed towards u, but i need to make sure u two arent slacking off. training at mine everyday 8am

Mina: uh oh

Lena: u cant make me

Eijirou: yes i can

Lena: have a coffee and breakfast ready for me every morning then.

Eijirou: lol my moms will cook. its whatever

Sunday: She woke up, put on workout clothes and jogged over to Kirishimas house. As promised, food was on the table for her and she happily ate while talking with Kirishima's two mothers.

That was the only good part of the day. Not even five minutes into Kirishimas workout for them and she wished she stayed home. To make matters worse, she had to go to work right after.

Monday: safe to say Lena felt like shit the next day. Her entire body was sore yet she still had to repeat yesterday. Working included.

Tuesday: Its not like shes out of shape, shes just used to her own workouts. But now used to Kirishimas gross workouts, they were a breeze for her.

Wednesday: It was the threes day off, but Lena still did her own thing. Working out was apart of her daily routine, so it wasn't anything different.

The last four days were the same: train, eat, work and sleep. Thank god for her friends, they make everything fun.

The days were fine, she was feeling fine. But Sunday night, it finally hit her on just how huge of a step she is taking. Just how much this goes against what she was told as a kid.

'You'll never be a hero Lena, you're going to kill, steal, ruin everything and everyone. With me training you, we will be unstoppable.'

It was scary, she'll admit. Big, strong, tough Lena was scared of one man and one man only. But keeping up with her cocky front, she smirked, trying to convince herself that she doesn't care.

"You thought wrong Ayatu, I will be a hero."
