I was standing in front of the open gate with my mouth still wide with surprise. I felt like I would cry even though I was feeling the happiest wave of emotions brush past me. The person standing in front of me was just smiling wide and laughing in between moments. I couldn't blame him, I would have laughed too if I could see my face right now. After minutes of standing wide eyed with open mouth, I rushed into his arms. He was my favourite person in the whole world and I loved him more than I could ever love someone else.

"Zaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyynnnn!!!!!!!" I cried, almost making him fall with my sudden hug but I was sure that he was ready for it because he caught me immediately and held me tight.

"Hello there, jelly bean" he said and it was almost like I could feel him give me a soft smile right before he kissed my head. I finally pulled away from him after a short pause.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, confused.

"What am I doing here? I have lived here for years now, baby girl." he laughed.

"Wait, what?"

"This is my town."

"No you it's not! I've visited you before. This is not the same place." I could feel myself growing more and more confused with every passing moment.

"What? You mean when we were little? I hardly think you would remember anything." he chuckled.

"Stop making fun of me! You're the one who's puzzling me!"

"I'm not." he laughed.

"I at least know the name of your town and this is not it. You live in North Yorkshire, don't you?"

"I do and this is North Yorkshire." he said patiently.

"But mum said it's Harwell. Somewhere near to your town but not exactly yours." I felt as if my head would explode with all the baffling disclosures.

"Well I guess then that Aunt Aria is the best liar in the whole world." he laughed walking past me and kissing my mum on the cheek before continuing further into our house. I greeted Aunt Trisha with a warm yet confused hug and then closed the door behind her.

"Is someone going to explain all this in a clear manner?" I exclaimed with my hands intertwined with each other against my chest.

"Alright honey. The thing is, since because of your father, Zayn and his family have always been the ones to visit us, we knew that you do not recognise his town and we were shifting here so we thought we'd tell you the wrong name and surprise you. That is why we didn't tell you our plan of shifting until the very last week and your phone is actually with me. It did not accidentally get packed away with our other stuff. I kept it with me so that you won't google or something and fail our plan."

"You're a genius, Aunt!" Zayn snickered.

I don't know why but I felt pissed. I could feel anger boil in my mind. I was so mad at these people for lying to me like that because I felt like a complete idiot while all of them were laughing. And yet, I could not help but fond over my cousin. He and I have always been the closest to each other. I did not have siblings of my own so the bond I shared with him was special. He used to spend all of his summer and winter breaks at my house every year which constituted to more than three months annually. My father has always had a very busy schedule due to which we hardly travelled to any other place which I'm sure made it much more easier to fool me.

Just then, I noticed the beanie hanging from the pocket of his hoodie. "Wait a minute. Are YOU Niall's third friend from the car?" I asked surprised, once more.

"Well, yeah. I knew you were going to be there in the school so I was ready to hide from you and then I saw you in the driveway. I didn't tell Niall anything until right before lunch, though. Had I told him anything in a hurry, he would have told you without knowing about our plan so I waited to explain it to him and I believe he lied to you about my whereabouts in the cafeteria?" Zayn replied.

"Yes, he did. I gotta admit, he's a poor liar."

"I know I know. Now are you going to take me to your room or what?" he said.

"Of course but where are the girls?" I asked wondering where his three sisters were.

"They will be over next time. This one's for you and me only" he smiled.

My face lit up and then we went up to my room and laid on the floor laughing.

"So, how was your first day at school? Did you like it?" he finally spoke up.

"Yes. It was really good and I did make some new friends." I didn't think I was ready to tell him about Niall yet since I knew how close they were now.

"I knew you would. Who wouldn't like an entertaining clown such as yourself."

"Shut up!" I said and threw a cushion at him.

"You know what this calls for!" He shouted.

"Pillow fight!" We both called and shot up to our feet, grabbing the nearest pillows and then I had one of the best times so far.
