Eyrie

I still wasn't over the surprise that I received yesterday. We had a good time playing and then went over to the dining room for the dinner which was a big chat session between the five of us. Aunt Trisha is probably the favourite sister of my mom and my dad likes her just as much. She's a pretty woman with a very generous and soft nature. It seems like she always keeps smiling which gives positive vibes off of her. I have always loved being with her and whenever my mom would travel away with my dad, I would never feel excluded.

The day had changed though. I was getting ready for school today and I felt super excited because I knew that Zayn wass gonna be there along with Niall, Lyv and Luisa which makde me believe that I was going to have a good day. I got into the car with my mom and drove off. Even though it was the same scenery as yesterday, it felt comfortable to watch. We reached the school sooner than we had the last time. Or maybe it was just the fact that I wasn't waiting every second, wondering how my school would look like. The only wait that I knew, was of meeting those people again.

I got out of the car feeling totally different as I stared at the building this time. I wasn't nervous, I wasn't jumpy in fact I felt totally calm but eager. I walked straight into the crowded hallway and went to my locker.

"Hey girl, we've been waiting for you!"

"Trust me or not, I've been waiting to see the two of you just as much." I replied to my overly active friend.

"Well, today's gonna be great. Did you know we've already made plans with Niall after school?" Lyv asked, teasing.

"Wait, what?!" I said in a voice higher than I expected.

"Yeah. As much as I don't like it, we have." Luisa said.

"Why don't you like it?" Lyv asked, looking cross.

"Because..... Well, for one, we could have sat down at lunch or something and two, we barely know him. Hanging out with him and his friend after school isn't exactly what I'd like at this stage."

"Don't be the buzz kill. And it's just one day. It's not like they're gonna kidnap us."

"Yeah, fine."

"Well, how did you even get him to agree to it?" I asked.

"Well, Niall isn't the most difficult person to convince for a fun time."

"Cool." I replied.

We got to our Literature class and it was successful. I answered a question well and the teacher was impressed. We didn't chat much after the class and just got going. Soon, it was time for lunch. I wait for this bell in particular because I don't have any more common classes with either of my only two friends except French with Luisa but that's after the break. I stuffed my bag in my locker as usual and walked up to the cafeteria with just my tiffin in my hands. They were sitting on the same table as yesterday so, it was pretty easy to find them.

"Hey guys."

"Hello, Eyrie. What's up?"

"I do have to tell you something crazy. Do you guys know Zayn? Well he's my-"

"Cousin?" someone said from behind me.

"Zayn!"

"Hello Eers."

"Hi!"

"I'm gonna go over to my friends now. Just wanted to check on you once." he smiled.

"I'm all good. See ya around." He gave me his smile one last time and then walked away.

"ZAYN MALIK IS YOUR BROTHER AND YOU WERE GONNA TELL ME THIS WHEN, EXACTLY?" Lyv asked me as if she'd have killed me if we weren't in such a crowded place.

"You know him? How?"

"Lyv has had a 'secret' crush on him like forever." Luisa smirked.

"What?" I laughed. I didn't want to, but I did. I just thought it was strange. I never saw Zayn as crush material. Even though I knew that it is because I'm his sister, but it still felt so weird that my friend liked him.

"Well, yes. He is the only one that can make Lyv go all quiet and nervous" I could swear that Luisa was having fun and I liked that. I planned to pitch in.

"Seems so. Okay, so do you want me to set you up Lyv? Wait, what will you say? Isn't he too hot? He must make you drool and if you try to say something, you might end up showing that to him." Me and Luisa both burst into laughter this time just as Lyv flushed red and tried to play it cool. The bell rang after a few moments and it was time for my Maths class.

When I entered the room, I saw someone unexpected sitting on the last seat of the very last row. I walked up to him and hoped to make a better conversation than the last time.

"Hey there. I didn't know we had the same class. I thought you were all seniors."

He looked up at me and I couldn't read his expression. "Hey" he said in his deep, raspy voice. "All of the others are. I'm younger."

"Why weren't you in class yesterday then?"

"I wasn't feeling well."

"Oh, alright. Talk to you after class, Harry!"

"Yeah"

Harry really confused me. I know it's just been two days but still, he was really hard to read. I wished he was more open. That would make being friends with him, so much more easier. The teacher entered the class and thankfully didn't ask me anything all the way to the end so, it was a success. I couldn't take my mind off the after school plan though. I just kept wondering whether that was a good idea or not. Everything aside, I was prepared for one thing firmly. If Lyv tried to prompt me to talk to Niall, I'd turn the tables by getting her to talk to Zayn. I was pretty sure I was smiling evilly because Harry gave me a weird look before leaving. But then, I couldn't be sure. He always acted a little off.
