Uhh oops

....old friends...

Nate and Lila immediately looked at me and tried not to laugh. I'm done with life. Classes seemed to go by so quickly until lunch. "Hey Peter! Do you wanna sit with us at lunch?" Alex asked. I sighed. "I-I'm sorry, I'm going to sit with Lila and Nate! I'll catch you later?" I asked. She smiled and nodded.

Nate, Lila, and I made our way up to the roof and laughed as soon as they were out of ear-shot. "Dude! Flash is so dead!" Lila laughed. I groaned and banged my head against the wall. "Loki please come out now." I pleaded. They looked confused until a snake slithered out of my bag. Loki turned back and I plopped onto him.

"I'm going to be dead. My parents are going to embarrass me to death, and the rest of the avengers are going to fucking do weird shit. I can feel it." I grumbled. They laughed and Loki was in my lap while I slumped against him. 

"Wow Peter, didn't know you were a top." Nate smirked. I laughed while Loki flushed. "You guys wanna come over today?" I asked. "I think it'll be alright. We may just have to go for an hour or two because we have to pack." Lila said. Nate nodded.

"My dad's cool with whatever." Nate told us. "So, is shuri gonna be there?" Lila asked, only a bit of blush on her face. Nate and I gasped and laughed. "You've got the gays for shuri!" I yelled. She slapped me and crossed her arms. 

"Maybe I do! What are you gonna do about it?" She asked. I shrugged and got out my phone. "So, on a scale of one to ten, how much do you like her?" I asked, pretending to scroll through my phone but was really taking a video.

"I-I don't know moron! She's pretty and her accent is hot as hell." We all agreed at that. "And she's so smart! And funny." She blushed. I smirked. "And what if she heard you say that?" I asked. She groaned and plopped over.

"I think I would die! She could hate me! I mean not many girls like other girls-"

"You know she's as straight as my hair right?" I asked. 

She glanced up at my curls and her eyes widened. "I HAVE A CHANCE!" She squealed. I laughed and stopped the video. The only mistake was that the sound was up and it sounded as if the video had ended.

Her eyes widened and she tackled me. I tossed my phone to Loki and when she had gone over to him I stood up and my phone was given back to me. I held it above my head so she couldn't get it.

"Ah ah ah! No. This makes glorious blackmail!" I cheered. She grumbled and sat down with a flustered face.

"I won't show it to her unless she likes you back!" I declared. She became less flushed. "Fine." Is all she said before laying on Nate's lap. 

"So, Nate." I smirked, running my hands through Loki's hair. His face was full of fear. "Got you eye on anybody?" He lit up like a fire truck. Lila and I cheered and yelled while I think Loki was asleep.

"Who is it? Does he go to our school?" I asked. He could only nod. "Well? Tell us!" I yelled. He smiled sheepishly. 

"Can you stop acting like six year olds?" Loki grumbled from my lap. "Nope!" We all said at the same time. He grumbled but I didn't miss the smile.

"H-he just transferred here...H-his name is..." he seemed nervous. "You won't tell him?" He asked. Lila and I but a hand over our chests. "Scouts honor." We said in sync. Nate laughed. "His name is Miles Morales, his dad is a police officer." He said shyly. My eyes widened. I put a hand over my mouth and almost started crying.

"Where is he?" I asked quickly. He looked shocked. "P-probably eating lunch in the courtyard." He told me. I carefully got Loki off my lap and he got the message, transforming back to a snake.

I ran as fast as I could to the courtyard, and in the corner with headphones over his ears, bopping his head to the music, was my old best friend. 

"Aye! Miles!" I yelled. He looked confused for a moment before taking his headphones off and spotting me. "Peter?" He asked in disbelief. I smiled widely and we hugged to reunite.

"Dude it's been too long!" He yelled. I laughed and nodded in agreement. "Where the hell have you been man?" I asked. He groaned. "My dad caught me doin my art again, this time somewhere big, and my phone was taken away for so long, that when I got it back from the highest shelf there is, it broke! And of course I didn't have your number memorized!" He complained. I laughed.

"It's fine! As long as you weren't ignoring me!" I laughed. He gasped. "Dude! Why the hell would you ever think that? And where's Ned and MJ?" He asked. I groaned softly. 

"W-we kinda stopped talking...well they blocked me." I admitted in defeat. He sighed and patted my shoulder. Lila and Nate came around the corner. "Peter! You ran off!" Lila yelled. Nate followed behind, redder than Loki. Miles smirked when he saw Nate.

Hope.

"Wait wait wait, how the hell do you keep your hair so big and fluffy?" Lila asked in disbelief, she started feeling his hair and he looked somewhat uncomfortable.

"Don't worry dude, she's gay, and crushing on my other best friend." I told him. He let out a sigh of relief until he put a hand on his chest. "Excuseee me? You've got another best friend?" He asked. I put my hands up in defense. 

"Yes yes I'm sorry!" I apologized. He rolled his eyes. "Whatever dude! Anyways, wanna come over to my place? I'm sure Ma will be surprised to see ya." He offered. I smirked.

"How bout you come to my place?" I asked. He seemed hesitant. "I-I don't know dude. You know I don't like being in those homes." He told me. I smirked wider. "Who said I was in them still. His eyes widened and he jumped on me.

"Dude no way! I told you that you would be adopted!" He told me. I smiled and hugged him back. "There's no way I'm missing going...ugh damnit! Ma asked me to do stuff today! I-I'm so sorry dude!" He apologized. I shook my head and smiled.

"You'll be there tomorrow." 

And I walked away.
