When I woke up, I got ready and then was met with wade, Matt and Eddie in the kitchen. "Hey." I yawned. "Where you going this early n a Tuesday?" Wade asked confused. I gave him a look. "Hel- I'm sorry, school." I said in a bored tone. Matt choked and Eddie sighed.
Wade laughed and I sighed. I made my toast, flipped them off and left.
I made my way to school and Lila, miles, and Nate winced when they saw me. "Dude, what the hell happened to you?" Miles asked. "The avengers know." I sighed. Their jaws dropped. "Yep, and DeadPool, daredevil, and venom stayed at Stark Towers last night." I groaned, banging my head into the locker.
Lila snickered. "Poor little stark." She teased. I glared at her and we all laughed.
Classes went by and "since there aren't any big tests coming up" we've been given so much homework. At least an hour for each class. The longest homework we have is three hours for math.
"Uhh sir? Don't you think this is a bit much for one subject?" I asked. He scoffed. "You are going to midtown tech high school in New York. You can handle this much." The teacher snapped. I took in a deep breath and got up. I walked into the front of the class.
"What do you think you're doing?" He asked as i grabbed a dry eraser marker. I guess all of the movies and shows I've watched in my free times are about to pay off.
"Well, I'm glad math is the last subject of the day, because I have all of our homework for the entire day." I told him in a bored voice and I started writing on the board. "I have nobody to compare to, so I'll use myself. I have all a's or b's in class and the homework you give is still sometimes difficult for me." I told him, pointing at him with the marker when I said still.
"What are you writing?" he asked. I gave him a bored look. "Numbers, you teach this stuff! I'm surprised." I sighed. A few chuckles rang out.
"But, in truth, this is how long it takes for the average student to complete the homework every class has given us today." I smirked. "So...half an hour for Spanish, an hour for English, half an hour for geography, wow! Already we have five hours!" I said, having to lift my hands up in shock. "Two hours for history, an hour for science, and now three hours of math!" I yelled.
"And since you are a math teacher you should know that all of that gives us ten hours for homework! For the average student! People who are struggling, but are genuinely trying to improve their grades, are having such a hard time! We have seven, hours of school, eigh if you include the time it takes to get ready and come to school." I scoffed.
"Then, we have time to eat, which is usually an hour with family. So we're up to nine hours taken, not including homework) thanks to school!" I yelled. "So, when we add the time school takes and the time homework takes we get nineteen hours in a day. Now say, we take half an hour to socialize with friends and family. Twenty hours." I told him.
"Then, we need a mental break! We can't go on for hours upon hours of schoolwork without resting our minds." I told him. "So two hours more would be twenty two hours, but it doesn't stop there! We add another hour for chores! Maybe even more!" I laughed.
"Teachers complain about not getting enough sleep, when your students get less than an hour of sleep a day. Then people complain that we sleep in class-but who's fault is that? Then, we're called lazy on the weekends, because we take the only time we have to rest." I told him.
"And last but certainly not least, the reason students share answers, is so that we have more time to spend with family! And if you're so worried that
The bell rang and I picked my bag up. "Nice seeing ya!" I yelled, and left. "C-come back here! I didn't say you could go!" He yelled, sticking his head out in the hallway. "It's against the law to hold students back after the bell rings!" I yelled back at him.
"Thank youuu Aunty nat." I whispered under my breath. Nat had...taught me...a few things, and they came in handy for school.
I walked down the halls and Lila, Nate and miles ran up to me. "Dude! That was badass!" Nate yelled. I laughed. "It wasn't much really! I just stated the facts!" I smiled. "So, who's house are we going to today?" Miles asked. "My Ma is making some good shit for dinner tonight." I groaned. Mrs.Morales's food is some of the best food I've ever had.
"I'm sorry guys, I've got to face fury's...well fury!" I sighed. They laughed at me. "We'll see you later peter!" Lila yelled and left with Miles and Nate.
I quickly ran to ST and said hello to Alex, per usual, and rode up in the elevator. I ran into the meeting room I was told to go to after school and opened the door. "Sorry I'm late." I panted. The avengers chuckled and I was met with fury's stare. Tony got up and put a hand on my shoulder, holding me in my place.
Well fuck.
"So underoos, wanna tell ol' fury why we're here?" Tony asked. I looked down and started to fidget.
I took a deep breath and stared fury straight in the eyes.
"I am Spider-Man."
