"Oh my god, look at him go!" Joey jumped up from the sofa when Lando's second sector time showed up purple. It was Q3 in qualifying and he was currently P6 and in his last timed lap. Dave had decided to watch qualifying from the hospitality as the garage already had been quite busy. Lexi was down there taking pictures so it was just the two of them. The McLarens had proven to be pretty quick around here and it looked like Lando was about to improve his time by a lot. They were on the edge of their seat when he crossed the line and jumped up when they saw his name pop up to P3. "Oh my god, that's so good!" Dave said while clapping his hands and they decided to make their way down to the garage to see if they could congratulate him after the interviews.

Lexi had been taking pictures in the McLaren garage and was too focused on her job to see what was happening. She quickly shot some photos of the boys jumping up and hugging each other before she lowered her camera from her face. Then she spotted the last name of her boyfriend on the screen next to P3 and a rush of pride and happiness spread through her body. He was so good this season, he had improved so much and had shown them that he wasn't going to be beaten by a teammate just like that. Lexi ran to parc fermé where she wanted to photograph him coming out of the car and running over to the team. She found a good spot and waited for Lando to arrive. He got out, stood on the front of the car for a moment and then jumped off to sprint to his teammates. He hugged all of them and even though he had his helmet still on, she could see the happiness in his body language. Then he turned around and looked straight at her while holding up a number three with his fingers. Lexi smiled at him and squeezed his arm quickly when he walked by.

Lexi headed back to the garage where she spotted her dad and brother. She hugged them both and they looked so proud. "That was amazing!" Joey said and Lexi loved to see him this happy. He had enjoyed every single moment of being around Monza up to now. They had gotten a tour of the paddock, met a few drivers and now he saw one of his idols who also happened to be dating his sister reach P3 in qualifying. "That boyfriend of yours is quite a fast one". Dave said and Lexi chuckled. They chatted for a while until they heard everybody clap. Lando had entered the back of the garage and thanked all of his mechanics. Then he walked over to them and Lexi fell into his arms. "I'm so proud of you baby!" She said and he gave her a kiss. He hugged Joey and Dave and let out a big sigh. "That felt amazing. Monza is such a high-speed circuit and we never thought we would be as quick here, but apparently we are". "I can't wait for the race!" Joey said and Lando chuckled. "Let's enjoy tonight first. Who wants to go have some dinner?"

"I'm going to shower quickly okay?" Lexi said to Lando when she stood up from the bed. They had been cuddling for a few minutes after they arrived back and she laughed when she saw Lando's pout. "Can I join you? I have to shower too.." He said with a cute voice. "No babe, because we both know that we won't be ready in time for dinner if that happens". She laughed and headed to the bathroom. The water felt nice on her back after a long day at the track and she washed her hair before washing her body, leaving the conditioner in her hair for a few minutes. She thought about the outfit she was going to wear and Lexi knew Lando would love it. She decided to put on her robe again when she was done in the shower and quickly dried her hair before taking her makeup bag and stepping out of the bathroom to let Lando go in. She sat down in front of the big mirror in the room and started her makeup. Lexi heard Lando singing in the shower and she smiled. She loved how happy he was.

"Are you almost ready babe?" Lando asked when he stepped out of the bathroom, all dressed to go. "Yeah, almost. Just need to get dressed". Lexi said and she walked over to the closet, got out the outfit she had in mind and walked to the bathroom again to get changed. Lando sat down on the bed and scrolled through his phone for a few minutes before he heard the door open again. Lexi walked out and he slowly lifted his eyes off his phone. "Ready? Oh.. Oh my god". He said stuttering. He was stunned. She was wearing a sparkly blue velvet dress that accentuated every single curve on her body with knee-high beige boots and she looked absolutely stunning. "What's the matter baby? Are you speechless?" Lexi said while walking over to him reaching with her hands to touch his chest. "Yes I am". He said when she was in front of him. "You look like an angel". Lando said while kissing her cheek. "I can't believe you're mine". "Come on baby, we got to get to dinner". Lexi said, laughing because of his nervous state all of a sudden.

The restaurant they were going to was quite fancy and Lando had reserved a table for four in advance. "Mr. Norris?" The waiter said and he nodded. "Follow me". They were being led to a table in the back of the small Italian restaurant and when they sat down at the table, the waiter opened a bottle of champagne. "To celebrate your result of today". He said to Lando and he smiled. Lando let him pour the champagne into the glass but he wasn't planning on drinking it. He had a race to drive tomorrow after all. Lexi looked gorgeous in the dimmed lighting and although he loved her dad and brother, he couldn't wait to get her all alone again. They ordered their food and chatted about their day. "What do you think of your weekend so far Joey?" Lando asked and he saw the sparkles twinkling in the eyes of the younger boy when he started to tell him about all the drivers he had met. "Daniel is the nicest". He said before Lexi gave her little brother an elbow to the ribs. "Yeah I know, Lando is the nicest but I knew him already. He's more like a brother to me now". Joey said and Lexi looked at Lando with a loving look in her eyes.

The dinner was amazing and it was such a great evening eating together, but Lando had to be up early and there was still something he wanted to do before they went to bed. So when the waiter came with the bill and he had paid, after dealing with a resisting Dave because he didn't want Lando to pay for everything, they went back to the hotel. Lexi had said goodnight to her dad and brother before they headed up a few floors to their suite. "I still can't believe this is our room". Lexi chuckled and she let herself fall down onto the bed. "Get cosy babe, I'll be back in a second, I have something to discuss with Jon about tomorrow. I won't be gone for long". Lando said before he planted a kiss on her forehead. He wasn't heading to Jon's room, but he didn't want to tell her that. He turned right outside their door and stepped back into the elevator. He reached the floor of his destination and hesitated a few seconds before he knocked. The door opened slowly and he saw Dave standing there in his pyjamas with his eyes wide. "Lando? Is everything okay? Did something happen to Lexi?" He asked. "No everything is fine, I just wanted to talk to you for a moment if that's possible. I want to ask you something".
