BILLIE O'CONNELL
i let out a low groan as i woke up. i lifted my hands to hold my head in them.
i looked around, noticing that i was in my dorm. i furrowed my brows as i reached for my phone, only to find out that it was dead. i plugged it in, then went to get some medicine for my headache.
i went back to my room after i took some medicine, and grabbed my phone. it had turned back on. i went to my messages, reading all of the missed ones from ag. as i did, memories from last night flooded my mind.
oh my fucking god.
fuck.
i shouldn't have ever gone out last night. fuck, man.
i've got to tell ag, but... i know it's not gonna end well.
"fuck." i cursed as i brought my legs up to my chest. i rested my forehead on my knees as i felt tears well up in my eyes.
after a while, i decided that i needed to take a shower. after my shower, i got dressed, dried my hair, and slipped on a pair of shoes. i started making my way towards annagrace's dorm.
i'm so fucking scared.
i reached her dorm and hesitated for a moment before i knocked.
what i'm about to tell her could ruin everything... do i really want to risk that?
i've got to be honest with her though. i can't lie to her.
i knocked on her door, waiting anxiously. a few moments later, it opened to reveal ag.
"bil?" she asked as she rubbed at her eyes, clearing having just recently woke up. "where were you last night?! i was so worried about you."
i frowned at her words. "i was out... uh, at a party. i didn't mean to worry you." i mumbled.
"a party?" her brows furrowed. "i thought you were done with parties? and why didn't you answer your phone? i— here, come inside."
i followed her to her room. we sat on her bed and she grabbed my hands as she looked into my eyes. "why didn't you answer your phone last night?"
"i— i dunno..." i trailed off. "it died at some point."
she frowned. "i was so worried about you, lovebug. you didn't let me know you were going somewhere or anything. s-something bad could've happened to you last night; your phone was dead and you wouldn't have even been able to call anybody. y-you've got to be more careful, baby." she started rambling, obviously freaking out over the idea of something happening to me.
"calm down, bubbie," i murmured. "take deep breaths, alright?"
she took a deep breath in, then let it out. she repeated this process a few more times until she had calmed down again.
