ANNAGRACE REID
"are you fucking kidding me?" i asked in disbelief.
estelle turned her head to look at me, her eyes widening.
after i had walked back to where adrian and estelle were, i had heard estelle tell adrian "you're not a boy, and you never will be one. you're a girl."
"how the fuck could you say that?" i asked angrily. "the fuck you mean he's not a boy? that is my brother."
they looked at adrian, then back at me. "that's your sister; born a girl, and always will be a girl."
"the fuck?" my eyes widened. "dude, get the fuck outta here. biological sex and gender identity are two completely different things."
"no, i'm not leaving." she shook her head.
"yes, you are. get out."
they stayed in their seat. "estelle, i'm not fucking kidding; get out. and while we're at it, we're through."
"you can't be serious." she narrowed her eyes.
"yeah, i am," i nodded. "if you can't respect my friends and families, then you can get the fuck away from me. being transphobic is gross as hell."
"i can't believe you." they scoffed.
"i can't believe you. how the fuck are you gonna be gay but transphobic?" i fumed. "it literally doesn't make sense."
"she's trying to be something she's not." she rolled her eyes as she stood up.
"he," i corrected her, ushering her out of his dorm. "i'll drop your shit off outside of your dorm tomorrow; hopefully it doesn't get stollen." i said sarcastically.
"shut up," she threw her hands up. "you know what? i know why you're breaking up with me; you just wanna be with that billie bitch."
"no, i'm breaking up with you because you're transphobic, which is disgusting. now get the fuck out here."
"fuck you." she spat as she walked out, slamming the door behind herself.
i let out a long sigh as i walked over to sit on the couch beside adrian. he had a shocked look on his face the whole time.
"you didn't have to break up with her just for me, you know?" he asked softly.
"don't even with that," i shook my head. "i'm not about to be with someone who blatantly disrespects the people in my life. i'm not about to date someone who's transphobic either; that's seriously disgusting."
