one year ago, i stumbled into billie o'connell; a short, rude girl who seemed to hate everything and everyone.

as the time passed, we grew closer and closer, eventually getting into a relationship and falling in love.

for a while, billie was my trouvaille. she was lovely; a breath of fresh air.

true, she wasn't perfect. nobody is, and that's okay. she had her problems; self destructive tendencies, bad habits, baggage from her last relationship, etcetera.

again though, that was fine.

we dated for almost six months. during those six months, and the months prior, i fell for her hard. i love her more than i've ever loved anybody else before.

i'd like to think that she felt the same way, but after she cheated... i really don't know.

it's been almost four months and i still don't understand why she cheated, and with brandon of all people.

was i not enough?

did she even love me like she said she did?

i have no clue. i still have so many unanswered questions.

i let out a sigh.

not to be rude, but i just don't think that billie was mature enough for a relationship yet. or mentally stable enough for that matter.

i think she was the right person, just at the wrong time.

i left hella hints and foreshadowed it all throughout the story

but fear not ! there will be a sequel 😁
