Part 26 : Report

Stella couldn't believe that Sky was throwing her under the bus like this.

Kelly laughed and said "I believe your daughter is calling you greedy"

She was in a way relieved he didn't get what the little one was trying to say. She gave him his breakfast.

"Oh would you mind staying with the girls, I actually promised Mills i'd come see him"

"No don't worry, we're good. Go"

So she gathered her things and left for Mills' apartment. She just needed her bestfriend right in this moment, she needed to let go of everything she was feeling right now and she knew Mills would help. As soon as she arrived to his house, she came inside and hugged him. But he took a step back as he felt her belly.

"wow" he looked at her from top to bottom.

"well i got news for you, you about to be an uncle again, to a little girl" she said on the verge of crying.

"So you were pregnant afterall, how? Why didn't you tell me"

"Because i don't know, it was so sudden. And i am still freaking out, i had a test done today and i have no idea if the baby is Manuel's or Kelly's. I am frightened with the thought of this little girl being Manuel's and now i have to wait" she explained close to tears.

"Did you talk to Kelly about it"

"No, what am I supposed to tell him. Oh look I'm pregnant, it might be yours or Manuel's. That's what we were already fearing, plus he told me he didn't know if he would be able to love this kid the same if it was ever to be Manuel's"

"He loves Sky, and i mean sure with how everything went down maybe he'd take him a little longer to warm up to this little girl but this is Kelly for God's sake. He loves you and anything that had to do with you" he said trying to reassure her "he will love his child regardless of it being his or Manuel's"

"I'm scared, i feel like this would be a stab to his back. Can't you see it, I enjoyed having sex with another man. That's cheating, Kelly deserves everything good but not this" she said desperate.

"Things went down a certain way, please don't spiral back into your old thoughts. They don't do you any good, i want you to go back home and talk to Kelly. He deserves to know, and he will be here with you no matter what. Stop taking in everything alone, you are not"

He offered her yet another hug.

"I don't know what i'd do without you"

"Did you already get your paternity test done?" He asked while hugging her.

"Yes, i did while you guys were on shift"

"Ok, but please go home ok" he looked at her "and as for this little baby" he lowered himself to her belly "uncle Mills will love her no matter what"

"I love you bestie"

She gave him a kiss on the cheek and then left. Mills would always calm her down and knock some sense into her. She drove back home, she was a bit scared to tell Kelly but she went inside anyways. She found him passed out on the couch with Aila laid on his chest also sleeping, and Sky very nicely watching tv.

"Baby girl, why don't you go play in your room"

"Ok mommy"

She kissed her on her forehead and then Sky left to go to her room. She grabbed Aila and gently went to put her down in her crib, she came back to Kelly and gently woke him up.

"Hey baby, you are already back" he said half asleep.

"Yes, it was rather quick and i wanted to come back so that you could go and sleep properly"
