Part 9 : mom

They rushed into Kelly's room. And pushed Stella outside, after all he had said to her and now this. She was regretting instantly not accepting what he was proposing.

After a little while, they allowed her back in the room.

"Hey don't cry, he is going to be fine" Rhodes told her.

She had been so emotional, that she didn't even feel that she was crying. She wiped her tears and went back in, Kelly was awake and okay. So she went in and just kissed him.

"I want that too, i am just scared" she admitted to him.

"Don't be we are going to take it slow, and see for ourselves." He reassured her.

She smiled and then stayed with him until he fell asleep again.

Now Stella was exhausted, and all she wanted to do was go back home. She knew Mills was already back home after he was treated. But she would be missing one person, her daughter. She decided to go back home anyways, Jennifer hadn't been to the hospital because she was with Sky but now that Stella was back at Mills' she decided to call Jennifer back to let her know that she was at home and if she wanted she could go see Kelly. So she did just that and then sat on the sofa, all tired.

"Hey you" Mills had his arm wrapped so that his wound could heal.

"Hey, i am exhausted. It feels like we were there taking care of victims forever when we didn't even stay that long."

"I know right, how's your head?" He asked as he saw the sutures.

"I'm fine, although still has me a bit light headed. But who wouldn't be after receiving Kelly's big body like that" she joked about it.

"I mean you should be used to his big body on top of you" he made a joke too.

"Peter!" She said seriously but then couldn't help laughing.

"What, thats the truth. But he got back up in good grace, i love that he saved you"

"Me too" and she smirked diving deep into her memory.

"What are you not telling me?" He asked curious.

"Nothing"

She refused to tell him, so Mills quit asking. And so after a while of talking on the couch, she decided she wanted to go take a shower.

"Oh, do you want your special Chef to cook you a little something. Pasta, chicken anything"

She made a face "not really hungry at the moment"

"Come on, something sweet then?" He asked.

"Um no, don't worry about me" she said then left for the shower.

While Stella was showering Jennifer decided to drop by and leave Sky for Stella. She wanted to go see for herself that her son was ok. And so when Stella got out of the shower, she had the best surprise ever.

"Baby girl" Sky ran her way to hug her "mommy missed you".

"I missed you too mommy"

She kept kissing her all over. Mills looked at them so happy, happy that he was still alive. Because even if he wasn't saying it, the call had scared him a lot. He was just thankful to see another day.

"Do you want uncle to make something to eat?"

"Yes" she said all happy.

"Can i help you, i never really cooked. I mean i have but was never that great at it." She told mills "plus your cooking is truly the best thing ever"
