There's a life,
just begun.
There's a life,
yet to have legs with which to run.
There's a life,
with little but a heartbeat.
There's a life,
yet to grow tiny feet.
There's a life,
now inside you.
There's a life,
still pure and true.
There's a life,
what a precious creature.
There's a life,
with a brand new future.
There's a life,
that rests in your hands.
There's a life,
at your command.
There's a life,
will you let it live?
There's a life,
for you to give.
There's a life,
yet to know.
There's a life,
who knows how it will grow.
There's a life,
that might change the world.
There's a life,
with potential to be unfurled.
There's a life,
that is unwanted.
There's a life,
that's fate is cemented.
There's a life,
without a lifetime.
There's a life,
that cannot shine.
There's a life,
that could've been given.
There's a life,
taken with no forgiveness.
There's a life,
that could have been loved.
There's a life,
that instead was shoved. Away.
There's a life,
now broken.
Your heart will never feel the same.
There's a day,
that will always rain.
There's a child,
without a best friend.
There's a love story,
with no beginning and no end.
There's a life,
to be remembered.
There's a life,
you pretend you've forgotten.
There's a life
that could have been given.
There's a life,
that could have lived.
