Dear mom and dad did you know you raised a rich snob?
Or that snob is just a fancy term for future slob?
Do you know what they've spent your money on for the past 20 years?
Did you think your little angel always told you the truth?
Did you even think to ask or question?
'Cuz they've been dealing hard drugs now since before they could tie their shoes.
Dear mom and dad did you know your kids don't need you?
That you weren't there when they did and your attention is too late and not too soon?
Do you know how hard they've had to work?
Did you think they wouldn't feel alone?
Did you even try?
Or when they got bored did you just hand them your phone?
Dear mom and dad did you know you came on too strong?
If you force your kids to be like you it sure won't last for long.
Do you know why they've resorted to rebellion?
Did you think to give them a chance?
Did you even consider their freedom?
Because there's worse things they could be into that buying their own ripped pants.
Dear mom and dad did you know you little girl is a prostitute?
Or that you little boy will soon be beyond destitute?
Do you know that they used to hang on your every word?
Did you ever think before you hit them?
Did you ever think to hold back before you raped them?
Because your bad decisions are the reasons for each of their own ten.
Dear mom and dad did you know the consequences of what you've done?
Or that it would fully impact the lives of your daughters and sons?
Do you know how many children have been lost?
Did you think the issues would just disappear?
Did you ever regret your hand in losing them?
As it's because of you that our world and so many of our children live in fear.
