I really hate,

This stupid virus,

I despise it,

It's true!

Well this is great,

Well this is grand,

24/7 I get to stare at my land!

2020+ why are you so mean?

Now I have to quarantine.

I don't feel sick,

I've tested negative,

But I must stay home,

All alone.

Will someone please give me a sedative,

And wake me up when its. all. over.

I really hate this,

stupid virus,

it's true!

When all I want is to give a hug to you.

Curse "social distancing"

I don't ever want to see another mask,

Can't it just be finished at last?

These regulations are harder to follow then I've ever seen,

Curse you, damn you,

Damn you, curse you,

Damn Covid-19.

A/N- A mood I know lol.  Just a simple little poem that I though could be fun to do, I had the words in me head and despite the lack of patterns I thought what the heck I'll post it. Anyways, I have to self quarantine for awhile cuz I was in contact with my aunt who we just found out has Covid. She didn't know at the time we saw her of course but still. Annoying.

I'm so done with this virus, as I'm sure everyone else is. Really bad timing too cuz I had a retreat for school I was going to go to but I can't anymore-not to mention I have to miss some of my theater rehearsals too. Please pray that I don't actually get covid soon because I would hate to miss my theater performance. I'm getting tested tomorrow so *fingers crossed*. And yeah I know I said I tested negative in the poem but it rhymed I haven't actually been tested yet lol.

Also please pray for my Aunt and Uncle who have Covid now because they have several additional health factors that put them more at risk from the virus.  Thank you if you read this far, stay safe, my prayers go out to everyone, particularly those whos lives have been more effected by covid-19 than mine has.❤❤❤

Edit: I tested negative, tho a week ago I had to quarantine again because of secondary contact as my mom's co-worker had covid. fun times. Out of quarantine tho, hopefully won't be back, might get vaccinated soon to tho idk yet. :) peace out
