So there's this kid, I used to know
and now I know him again.
Except this time I know him better.
It all started at a summer party, that I planned
and a friend brought this kid I used to know.
I had no idea we would become such good friends.
So everyone had fun, at this party
and now I have the number of this kid I used to know.
And so I texted him.
He replied, to my text
and I had never known how similar I was to this kid I used to know.
Now I text him all the time.
Life is busy, so I haven't seen him much
but I've had many great conversations with this kid I used to know.
And now we're best friends.
Life does so many funny things, like bring unlikely friends together,
like myself and this kid I used to know.
