Nellie's POV
Once Ashley left, I waited a little bit to see if one of the twins would be coming back. After they didn't, I pulled out my phone and took a picture to send Shayla.Me: Look where I am!
S: Woah, where is that in NYC?
Me: Her sisters penthouse
S: NO WAY
Me: Yeah. They're really nice btw.
S: Oh my gosh have fun.
Me: Thanks.
S: I'm sorry for your loss
Me: It's okay. Lizzie's been trying to be here for me. I appreciate it. I'll be alright.
S: Okay, have a great time!I put down my phone and look around Mary-Kate's room. I saw all her jewelry, her pictures and the various other things she has had throughout her life. If there would be a way to perfectly capture what a famous fashion designer's room would look like, it would be my aunt's room. I smiled looking at the picture on her bedside table of her, Ashley and Lizzie. Then, I laid down on her bed, the large white sheets engulfing me.
I laid there for a minute and became bored. So, I decided to pull out my phone and watch Lizzie in Sorry for your Loss. I mean, I know Lizzie is literally in the other room and I would be seeing her soon, but, I was bored and in the middle of the season, so, I watched the show, smiling as I saw Lizzie being the queen that she is.
However, when a scene about Matt comes on, I breakdown. I wasn't expecting to breakdown, I thought I had gotten over what happened last night. I hadn't though. Seeing Elizabeth's character, Leigh, go through what I was going through, brought the tears.
I felt alone, all by myself there in Mary-Kate's bedroom with the pictures of Lizzie's family around me. I felt like I was the only one left, the only one in the world. Even though I was in a penthouse, full of people, in the busiest city in the world.
"Nellie?!" I hear Elizabeth question, running to me. "What's wrong sweetie?" I sob, looking up at her. "T-they're gone. They're all gone Lizzie!" I cry, soaking her shirt. She rubbed my back and hugged me.
"Shh, I know. It's okay sweetie-I'm here." I cry into her and she just stands their rubbing my back. She runs her fingers through my hair and rubs my tears away with her thumb. I smile through my tears at her. "T-thank you." She nods.
"Do you want to tell me about them?" She asks. I shake my head. "It's alright. I'll be here if you want to talk." I nod and look back at her.
"I'm sorry about your shirt." I tell her. She nods and looks at me. "It's fine Nellie-don't worry about it, I'll just steal one of my sister's shirts." Elizabeth walks over, grabs one of Mary-Kate's shirts and puts it on.
"Are you gonna be alright right now? We can stay here while my sister's go to dinner with Robbie." She looks at me, her eyes full of love towards me. "No-It's okay Lizzie. I'll be fine." "You sure sweetie?" I nod.
"Alright, let's get going sweetie." I nod. "Where are we going?" "I don't know, somewhere my sisters go." I nod and we leave.
