Nellie's POV
I sat down at my aunt Ashley's desk and laid the diary flat. The diaries thick pages full of writing in my aunt's blue ink pen sat there, ready to be explored. I knew it was probably the wrong thing to do, to read her diary without permission. I mean, it had all her thoughts that she had kept to herself from when she was younger inside and I didn't ask her if it was okay for me to read it. However, it was the only opportunity I would ever have to do this and if there is one thing I've learned about myself, it's that I will do things at the first opportunity I have.
Like for example, when I went to Disney earlier this year, I got evacuated off of Splash Mountain and when I walked through the ride, I touched the props. I mean, they were getting rid of the ride anyways, it was the only time I would ever be able to say I did that. So, I used that mentality and went forward with reading Ashley's diary.
The first page beyond the who the diary belonged to page was pretty simple. It just contained Ashley's information incase the diary ever got found. Then, I found an about me page.
Name: Ashley Fuller Olsen
Birthday: June 13, 1986
Age: 14
Favorite Song: Absolutely (Story of a Girl) by Nine Days
The next page I flipped to, finally started the tea.

This morning, Mary and I just got back from filming the finishing scenes of Our Lips Are Sealed in Australia. It was a lot of fun getting to explore Australia this summer with my sister and getting to work on our movie. Lizzie also came with us but she just went and hung out with mom while we filmed. I mean, I wished I could have hung out with her more but she is 11, she couldn't hang out with us while we were filming. Although, when we did get to hang out, Lizzie hung out with me more than Mary-Kate. Maybe that is because I'm her favorite of the two of us, or because Mary forgot Lizzie's birthday this year. Anyways, Lizzie and I got to go to the Australian Zoo together one day while Mary was sick and we got to pet a Koala. He was so adorable and so soft, his name was Mittens by the way. So, when I got home today, I got a call today from you know who. I know! I cannot believe Luke called me! Luke has been my crush for a while now and I don't know if he likes me back or not. However, with Luke, I feel like he truly gets me. Luke doesn't see Mary and I as the same, like the rest of the world. Luke sees me for me. Mary got to have her first kiss when we were 12, but I haven't gotten to have mine yet. Hopefully Luke will be mine.

Today we were supposed to go to an event and Mary-Kate and I got into a fight. She got mad because she couldn't find her brush, and I told her the truth about seeing Lizzie singing into it, but she didn't believe me. Like seriously, you can go look in Lizzie's room and see for yourself sis. Then, when we were getting ready, Mary spilled her Shirley temple on her dress and had to change. Ha, it was like I was getting payback for the fight we had earlier. Mr. Hawkins came and did our hair for the event again and I watched as Lizzie made googly eyes over his younger brother, who is only one year older than her. At this point, Lizzie is gonna fall in love before me. Anyways, the event was fun and full of the press like normal.

Today, Lizzie, Mary and I went to the pool. It was pretty fun getting to just act like a normal teen for the day. We went to the pool, got ice cream, and then came back home. When we got back home, Luke called me. I know, Luke! It was amazing to get to talk to him again and I truly think I love him. We talked for three hours today and it was incredible.

Today I went to my best friend Sarah's fifteenth birthday party at the beach. We all went and took pictures together and she looked beautiful. When it started to get later, it started raining. So, we all ran and hid into the forest outside of the beach and I had my first kiss with Luke. It was amazing getting to have my first kiss in the rain.
I kept on reading my aunt's diary. Stories from high school, her being upset that Mary-Kate won homecoming queen over her and her doing it for the first time with Luke on Homecoming (which happened to be the day my internet best friend Ryeli was born).
As I closed the book, mom came in and handed me Mary-Kate's diary. For the next thirty minutes, we sat there reading Mary-Kate's diary and seeing all the tea that was in it.
After we finished, mom went and put Mary-Kate's diary back and we went downstairs to leave. Before we leave, Lizzie's mom gives us food to take with us and we go home.
