Nellie's POV
The next day, I woke up to Lizzie making Robbie and I Smoothie Bowls."Morning mom." I say, sitting down at the table and taking a sip of the cup of coffee that she had made me. "Morning Nellie, did you sleep well?" I nod.
"Before I forget to tell you, tomorrow I have an interview at 12. So, you will be home alone. I'll be back afterwards." I nod and thank her as she puts the smoothie bowl in front of me.
"So, do we have any plans for today? If not I'm just going to read, FaceTime my friends, watch YouTube videos and study for the SAT all day." I tell her. "No plans, enjoy it. Once you go back to school and it gets closer to Multiverse coming out, we are all gonna be very busy."
Once I finish eating breakfast, I excuse myself to my room to watch my Disney Vlogs. Since I was younger, most of the YouTube videos I watch have been Disney vlogs. As the years went on, Tim and Jenn, Justin and Ally, and the AllEars team became a sense of comfort to me. I constantly stayed updated with their content, especially when I missed the parks. The last time I had gone, for my Sweet Sixteen, I got to meet Tim and Jenn and they were so sweet. I also met John Stamos and his wife, but that's beside the point.
I watch my comfort video, Tim and his friend Adam running around a Christmas fair and acting crazy. I read House of M while watching their videos when Lizzie walks in.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Lizzie asks. "Oh, I'm just watching Disney Vlogs. Why?" "Aww. You like Disney, good to know. Also, your dad and I used to do vocal warmups every day and we decided to start them up again and I was just wondering if you sing and want to join us?" I nod.
"I've been singing ever since I could talk. My earliest memories have me crawling up the stairs at church to sing in front of everyone a-and I loved doing talent shows and Musicals. M-my parents always talked about how I was always singing when I was younger." Tears started falling upon remembering my family and I try to stop them.
"Is it okay if I hug you?" Lizzie asks me, sitting next to me on my bed. I nod and cry into her.
"Shh sweetie. It's okay, you don't have to sing if you don't want to. I know it'll take you a lot of time to get over what happened. I am so sorry about it baby." I lay in Lizzie's arms for a minute until I recover.
"Okay. I'm ready." Lizzie nods and we go into the foyer where Robbie is sitting at the piano.
We start out by doing scales, which I was familiar with. Then, he went around and had each of us sing something. Lizzie sung ' I love you, Always Forever', Robbie sung 'Fly Me To The Moon', and then he got to me.
"Nellie, do you want to sing something?" Robbie asks me. "What should I sing?" "Whatever pops into your head."
I take a deep breath and start singing 1957 by Milo Greene. When Robbie realizes what I am singing, he starts playing along on the piano while I sing.
"Woah." Lizzie says, turning towards us. "That was good." I look down shyly. "I mean I'm nothing like dad, Marlana and Graham but thank you." I hug Robbie and Lizzie and then drink some water before lunch.
Upon finishing lunch, I go into my room and FaceTime my friends. I call Rye and we watch Tiger King together until my mom comes in to tell me dinner is ready. Unfortunately, I forget that Rye hates my mom until Lizzie says hi to rye.
"Eww her." Rye says. I start laughing and watch as she messes with Lizzie. I put my head in my hands as Lizzie hangs up on Rye.
We eat dinner as a family and then go into the living room to watch a movie. We watch Shrek and I end up falling asleep with my head laying in Lizzie's lap.
