51. Look at the Fireworks

Lizzie's POV
I woke up the next morning to Robbie standing beside the bed putting a glass of orange juice down on the bedside table.

"Morning babe." Robbie told me. "Morning." I smiled at Robbie as he planted a kiss on my cheek. I stretched, letting out a small yawn before I got out of the bed.

"Our last full day in Ohio before we go up to see your sisters, huh." "I know. Then we have to go down to Florida, and don't tell Nellie, but I got tickets for the opening night of Black Widow on Friday." "Lizzie she's gonna love that." "I know."

Robbie and I ate breakfast before Nellie got up and joined us.

"Morning baby." "Morning mom." Nellie said, joining us.

"How are you doing sweetie? I know yesterday was rough on you." "Yeah, it was. Thanks mom and thanks for not being mad at me yesterday, I know I was a bitch to you."

I sat Nellie's food down in front of her and smiled. "I'm now a mother of a teenager, I have to get used to it." Nellie laughed at my response.

"Don't worry mom I'm not that bad." "You better not be."

We finished eating breakfast and I changed into a comfortable shirt and denim shorts, since we'd be doing nothing today.

"Hey Liz, what are we doing today?" Robbie asked me as I put my hair up into a bun. "We're just gonna be staying in, you and Nellie can watch movies or go to the pool, I have to work on prepping for Love and Death. We also need to start packing because we are going up to New York to see my sisters tomorrow. Then tonight, we are going to go on the balcony and watch Fireworks." "Okay thanks Liz." "Mhm."

I grabbed another cup of coffee as I grabbed my laptop and sat down on the couch. I first checked and answered my emails for the day before I went on to reading the script for Love and Death and researching my character.

When I was in the middle of answering emails, I remembered an event that I was supposed to do later on this month.

"Shit!" I exclaimed, scrambling to go find a flight to Italy online. "Liz, you okay?" Robbie asked me from where he was watching In The Heights with Nellie.

"Are you going to be able to stay home with Nellie the week of the 24th? I forgot to tell you that I'm going to be in Italy for a film festival."

Robbie walked into the room I was in to talk to me.

"Yes, of course. I don't really have that much to do as we are just releasing a cover song for Milo and I don't start having shows till August so I'll be fine. Have you told Nellie yet?" "No but I think she'll be fine." "Okay babe. I love you." "I love you too."

Robbie walks back to where he was with Nellie and I start working. For the majority of the day, I work on my prep for Love and Death before joining Robbie and Nellie for lunch, which we ordered from Uber Eats.

After I finish my work, I watch Age of Ultron with Nellie and Robbie, Nellie's choice not mine, before Nellie asks to go to the pool.

Since Robbie wanted to take a nap, I took Nellie down and we spent time together there until it was time to meet up with Robbie for dinner.

Robbie, Nellie and I went to a fancy pizza place in town before we started packing. We packed for a little bit and then it was time to watch the fireworks.

I smiled at Robbie and Nellie as I put my arm around the two of them while I was standing next to them on the balcony.

"I love you Lizzie." Robbie said, kissing me as the finale went off. "I love you too Robbie."
