Elizabeth's POV
I smiled as Robbie struck the last cord on the piano as I ended the song. "Thanks Robbie." I kiss him and wink.

"I love you Lizzie, you are such a good mother." I grin. "I love you too, Robbie. You're a good father."

I sit down on the couch and put my hair up into a bun, wanting to get it out of my face, so,  it wouldn't annoy me for the rest of the day.

"It sucks that Nellie is sick, I really feel bad for her. We barely got home and now she gets sick." Robbie said, sitting down next to me. "I know, but what can we do but just hope for the best?" Robbie wraps his arm around me and looks at me. "You know, you sound exactly like Bettany sometimes." Robbie adds.  I laugh, rolling my eyes.

"How do I sound like Paul? All I said was words." Robbie laughs. "It just sounds like something that man would say." I roll my eyes.

Robbie and I go outside and tend to my garden, seeing as though we needed something to occupy our time. I smiled at him as I gently catered to my plants.

"Sorry you had to marry someone who was a plant lover." I tell Robbie, smiling. "Well, you're the only one I'd ever marry with a plant addiction." I bust out laughing and spray Robbie with the gardening hose.

"Hey! Now I'm wet!" Robbie exclaims, flinging some of the water off of him and onto me. "That's what you get."

I start to back up and feel something wet hit my back. Upon turning around, I see Robbie with the water hose now.

"Oh no you don't!" I laugh and run away from Robbie, beating him back inside.

When I get inside, I hear the phone ring and grab it, so, it doesn't wake Nellie up.

Me: Hello?
Lady: Hi, I'm looking for Elizabeth or Robbie Arnett?
Me: This is Elizabeth
Lady: Hi, I'm the child services agent in charge of your daughter's case.
Me: Oh okay, what can I do for you?
Lady: I just wanted to get in contact to tell you guys we paid for everything for you guys to go to her family's funeral. That means flights to Ohio, hotels, everything is paid for. Also, it has been requested for Nellie to sing at the funeral.
Me: Okay, thanks for letting us know. When is the funeral again?
Lady: We will be flying you guys out next Wednesday, June 30th and the funeral is Saturday, July 3rd.  You guys will be flying back on July 5th.
Me: Okay, thank you.
Lady: Next, if we can meet sometime soon, so, you and your husband can start filling out adoption paperwork, as the process takes a long time.
Me: Alright. We can meet on Monday, if it works with you.
Lady: Perfect. Thank you Mrs. Arnett
Me: Thank you ma'am.

I said goodbye and walked over to Robbie who was sitting in the corner.

"Lizzie, what was that about?" I sit down next to Robbie. "Guess we are spending our Fourth of July weekend at a funeral."
