16. Darcy Lewis

Nellie's POV
When I start to feel better, Lizzie and I go to rejoin the group in the living room. As we walk, I lean over onto Lizzie.

"I love you Nellie." She tells me, smiling. I smile back. "I love you too mom."

When we reach the living room, Kat comes up to me, arms open wide to hug me. I immediately hug Kat back.

"I'm so sorry Nellie, I didn't know." "It's okay Kat. You guys can still go if you want to, I'm just going to hang around here with Lizzie." Lizzie wraps her arms around me and nods.

"Actually Nellie, I was thinking we could all go to the local Arboretum instead." Kat tells me, smiling. "Okay! Once again, I'm sorry about it."

"No Nellie, don't worry about it." Kat smiles at me and I smile back. I turn to face Lizzie and see her jumping up and down.

"What's up with Lizzie?" Andrew asks. "Oh, she's obsessed with gardening, plants, trees, etc. So, she's excited to go to an arboretum." I reply.

"Yeah. She's been asking to go to one for a year Kat. You cornered the market on this one." Robbie joked.

"Yeah. I like trees." Lizzie says, happily.

Everyone busts out laughing and after we recover, Andrew makes it worse.

"What's an arboretum?"

Kat shakes her head, putting it in her hands. I grab Lizzie's arm, so, she doesn't go off on Andrew and we head out.

We pile into Kat's mom's van. Kat's parents in the front, Kat and I in the middle, Lizzie, Robbie and Andrew in the back.

"Kat? Did I tell you that Darcy is my second favorite WandaVision character after Wanda?" "Aww! Thank you so much! I had a lot of fun playing her." Kat said, hugging me.

On the way to the arboretum, Kat and I talk about Darcy and WandaVision and I show her some Darcy Lewis Memes.

We get to the arboretum, Kat and Lizzie walking around fangirling over trees. I manage to get some videos of it for my Instagram story in order to bring back Lizzie's gardening videos.

We stop and get lunch and then go back to Kat's house.

For the rest of the day, we watch some movies together on the couch at Kat's and sing karaoke.

"JUST A SMALL TOWN GIRL! LIVING IN A LONLEY WORLD." I sung out, laughing. We continued singing and finished it off with Daydream Believer from WandaVision.

"CHEER UP SLEEPY JEAN. OH WHAT CAN IT MEAN TO A DAYDREAM BELIEVER AND A HOMECOMING QUEEN."

"Alright, I'm tired. I'm going to go to sleep." I said after we finished singing. I said goodnight and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow on the bed in Kat's guest room.
