Elizabeth's POV
Six hours later, the plane started to land in Columbus and I turned over to Nellie who was asleep on my right.

"Nellie, wake up sweetie. We are here." I say, rubbing her shoulder as we defend.

"Huh?" Nellie asks, looking at me. "We're here sweetie." "Oh okay."

Nellie takes her headphones out and puts her travel pillow back into her bag. I smile at her as she gathers her things.

Robbie wraps his arm around me and I smile at him.

"Welcome to the John Glenn Columbus International Airport, local time is 2:30 PM EST. You are at Concourse A, Gate 11."

When we stop, Robbie grabs our bags from the overhead bin and I put my sunglasses on before we head out of the plane and walk into the airport.

When we walk inside the airport, which I had never been to before, I immediately see Nellie run off towards a girl around her age that was standing right by the gate.

"Shayla!" I heard Nellie exclaim, running towards her best friend.

I smiled, knowing how much this meant to my daughter and I walked over towards the family that was waiting for us.

I said hi to Shayla's parents and her twin brother before going over to her.

"Hey Shayla! It's so great to see you again, I've heard such great things about you from Nellie." I hugged her and she smiled at me.

"You too Mrs. Arnett. I'm such a fan of you and I love my bestie, so, I'm happy you guys are here." I smiled at her and whispered in her ear. "This is gonna be a really hard week/weekend for Nellie. I'm glad that you're here for her. She's gonna need you the most this weekend." Shayla nodded and I went back over to Robbie's side.

We all walked together towards the tram and towards baggage claim. As we walked, Nellie and Shayla skipped ahead of us and danced together to the music that was playing in the airport. I laughed lightly and smiled.

As soon as we got to baggage claim, Robbie grabbed our bags and put it in our rental car. Shayla's family decides to have Shayla come with us and then meet us at the hotel.

For the first two days in Ohio, we would be staying up in Columbus and then the rest of the time we'd be in Nellie's hometown, for her family's funeral and for the Fourth of July.

Today, we were going to take Nellie and Shayla to the bookstore before checking into the hotel with Shayla's family and then going to the water park Zoombezi Bay.

We got our rental car and I watched as Nellie made Tik Toks with Shayla on our way to the bookstore. I laughed lightly, seeing that the girls were enjoying themselves.

We stopped at the bookstore and I looked at the two of them. "Let's get going."

After I said that, I realized I regretted it as the two of them started  singing.

"Let's keep it going! Let's keep it going, through each distorted day! Let's keep it going, and there will be no way of knowing, whose coming out to play."

I rolled my eyes and stood there as the two ran all over the bookstore for an hour. After they had the books they wanted, I paid and we left.

We then met up with Shayla's family as we checked into the hotel. We had gotten three rooms, one for Robbie and I, one for Nellie and Shayla and the one for Shayla's family.

Once we checked in, Robbie and I headed to our room and put our bags down. I smiled as he wrapped his arms around me before kissing me.

"I love you Elizabeth." "I love you Robbie."

We put on our bathing suits under the clothes that we are wearing.  I check the app on my phone for the water park that we are going to and turn to Robbie.

"There's an adults only section. Maybe we can finally get some peace and quiet."
