15. I'll be there

Elizabeth's POV
Shortly after we got into Pennsylvania, we reached Kat's.

Kat had been one of my close friends and co-workers during WandaVision. I hadn't seen her since January, and because she was in Pennsylvania visiting family, she invited us to come stay with her.

I text Kat and tell her that we are here. As soon as she reads it, she is out  in front of the house. I smile and get out to run to her as Robbie finds a spot to park.

"Lizzie!" Kat exclaims, she hugs me and I hug back. "Hey Kat, congratulations on your engagement." "Thanks." She smiles at me and I wait for Robbie and Nellie.

"Kat, this is Nellie, Robbie and I are adopting her." I say, motioning to Nellie. Kat shakes Nellie's hand and Nellie turns bright red, like how she had when we had seen Paul earlier. "I-it's so nice to meet you Darcy-I mean Kat. You are such a good actress." "Aww." I let out.

"Thank you so much. It's so nice to meet you Nellie." Kat then turns to me. "Woah Lizzie, she looks exactly like a mini you." I laugh awkwardly and motion Kat to come over to me. Then, I whisper in her ear "that's because she is."

Robbie brings our things inside and Kat introduces me to her fiancé.

"Lizzie, this is Andrew. Andrew, this is my friend Lizzie, she plays Wanda." Kat says. Andrew waves hi and shakes my hand.

"Thank you guys so much." I say as Robbie comes and puts his arms around me. "Of course. I'm so glad I get to spend time with you guys again."

Kat grabs her fiancé's hand and leads us into the living room of her parent's house. I grab Nellie's hand as I look around.

"Mom, Dad, this is Lizzie and her family." Kat said as we walked in.

"Hi Lizzie. You we're so good in WandaVision." Kat's mother said to me. "Thank you so much. It was a joy getting to work on it with Kat." I sat down on the couch with Nellie and Kat as Kat's mom went and got us water.

"So, I was trying to figure out what fun things we could do, and I was thinking back to when we were filming the show and I got an idea. There is a place here in Pennsylvania called Kent Square and they have mushroom farms there and I had an idea that we could go there so you could get you some Lizzie." "Really?" I asked. She nodded. I watched her pick up a picture to show me. "This was last time we went. There was one bigger than my entire body!" I laughed and suddenly saw Nellie dart out of the room.

"Nellie? Nellie? Sorry Kat-can you excuse me for a minute." "Yeah. No worries Lizzie." I ran out of the room to find Nellie rocking back and forth on the floor of the bathroom.

"Nellie,  sweetie are you okay? You're having a panic attack." She takes a minute and then looks at me.

"Y-yeah. I know I'm having a panic attack Elizabeth!" I sit down on the floor next to her. "It's okay Nellie. I understand completely."

"You don't Elizabeth. You don't know what it's like to have an extremely weird fear that is literally everywhere. Every time you go on Pinterest or tik tok it's there. Then everyone, including your creative writing teacher likes to bring it up and make fun of the fear." Nellie hugs onto me, putting her face in my chest. "What do you mean sweetie?"

"I have a huge fear of Mushrooms." "OH! Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I  didn't know that." I ran my fingers through her hair. "I didn't know about that. I wish you could have told me earlier, I would have told Kat." She shakes her head.

"You guys go have fun. I'll be here-the weirdo daughter who is afraid of a fungus, who had a panic attack when she saw what Kat showed her mother." Nellie put her hands up in the air and I rubbed her shoulder.

"Nellie?" "Yeah." She said. "You called me mom for the first time." I smiled and hugged her.

"Oh I didn't realize it. I'm sorry Lizzie." "No-no sweetie it's fine. Besides, it's okay. I want to stay here with you. We all are afraid of stuff, like I'm afraid of failure. So, I understand and I promise, I'll never do them again, okay?"

We sit there for a minute, my arms around her. "I'll always be here for you Nellie, okay?" The girl nods and I text Kat what happened and that I may be up here for a while.

"I'm good now Lizzie, thank you."  Nellie says, getting up from off the floor. "Of course sweetie. I love you." "I love you too mom"
