Chapter 5 "Heartfilia and Dragneel"

Lucy POV

"Lucy..."

We stood there looking at each other. The class was silent and stared at us. It felt as if the world had stopped to watch but that feeling was broken when Ms. Aries coughed and I broke out of trance so did Natsu.

"It seems like Natsu and Lucy are already friends so after you do your introduction you can sit beside Ms. Heartfilia, is that alright with you?"

"Yeah, it's fine. My name is Natsu Dragneel and I transfered here from Sabertooth Academy. Please take care of me."

Some people gasped at the fact that he had transfered here from SA which is our rival. While others were surprised he wasn't injured while transferring out of SA. He walked towards me and sat in the seat beside me. I didn't realize that my mouth was still open so I closed it.

"What are you doing here?" That was a stupid question...

"What do you think? I'm going to school."

"I'm sorry, I was just surprised that I would meet you here."

"Me too."

"Clearly..."

He burst out laughing which startled Ms. Aries. His laughing was so contagious that I started laughing and the whole class laughed, too. Ms. Aries must have been fed up with us interrupting the class so she slammed a book down her desk.

"Ms. Heartfilia and Mr. Dragneel, please get out of my class and you have detention."

I got my stuff still snickering and walked to the door. I watched as Natsu walked up to Ms. Aries and bowed then stood up and smirked.

"It's been such a pleasure, Ms. Aries, to spend 3 wonderful minutes in your class."

He winked at her and she blushed. I rolled my eyes when he walked out of the classroom grinning like a fool.

"What are we going to do now?"

"Explore...?"

"The school?"

"No, outside. Let's go!!!"

"Are we skipping?"

"No, Lucy, we are going on a field trip."

"That's skipping..."

"No, it's not. Think of it as a field trip, okay?"

"Fine, where are we going?" He looked at me and winked.

"Anywhere you wanna go, Luce."

"Luce?"

"It's your new nickname. I think it's cute."

"What if I don't want that nickname?"

"It wouldn't matter because I'm going to call you that anyway."

We began walking to the school parking lot and then Natsu stopped. "What?"

He laughed sheepishly and turned towards me. "I forgot, I didn't bring my ride. My dad brought me to school."

"That's just great."

"But we can walk if where you want to go is not far from here."

"Okay."

"So, where do you want to go?"

 I laughed then smiled. He raised an eyebrow. "Come on, I'll show you."

I'm so proud of this chapter...I don't know why though it just makes me smile. I'm so weird but anyway I hope you guys enjoyed my story.
