Chapter 4 "Welcome to FTA"

Lucy POV

The weekend went by fast and it was Monday again. The thing about me is I get up by myself every morning without an alarm clock but today was different. I didn't get up.

Lucy. Lucy. Wake up. Wake up, Lucy. LUCY!!!

"What? What is it? Who died?"

"Lucy, you're late."

"Huh?"

"You slept in. You're late for school."

"Oh snap."

I almost tripped over my mom trying to get out of the bed. I grabbed some jeans and a t-shirt out of my closet then ran to the bathroom. I quickly brushed my teeth and cleaned my face. I pulled my clothes on and ran down the stairs in a hurry.

"Here are your shoes."

"Thanks, mom."

"Don't forget your breakfast!!!"

I put my shoes on and put my breakfast in a bag. "Lucy!!!"

"Sorry, mom, I have to go."

My mom shook her head and continued whatever she was doing on her phone. I ran out of the house and down the street dodging other people walking on the sidewalk. I'm lucky I live a short distance from my school so I'll make it a few minutes after the bell. I shoved some toast and eggs in my mouth and ran up the path to my school. I was panting while speed walking through the hallways. I sighed out of relief when I realized the teacher wasn't there yet. I walked over to my friend, Levy McGarden, and collapsed in the seat next to her.

"Hey,Levy."

"Hey, Lu, why didn't you go to the party?"

"Why do you guys keep on asking me that? You all know why."

"Sorry, I forgot."

"It's okay."

"Why are you late? You're always early."

"I don't know my body just decided not to get up today."

I really didn't know why my body has had it's own alarm clock since I was little so I wonder what made today any different. My teacher, Ms. Aries, walked into the classroom and stood in front of the class.

"I'm sorry for my tardiness but we have a new student."

The class sat up in interest at Ms. Aries words.

"You can come in, Mr. Dragneel."

The one boy I was hoping to see since Friday walked through the door.

"Natsu?"

Natsu POV

I walked into this school called Fairy Tail Academy with my father. He had practically begged me to leave Sabertooth Academy to go here because he says they are a bad influence. The atmosphere in FTA was more relaxed and friendly which made me feel less tense. The principal was a weird and short man named Makarov. He gave me the uniform with a weird symbol on it and sent me off to my classroom. My first class was with Ms. Aries.

"Welcome to Fairy Tail Academy, Mr. Dragneel."

"Uh, thanks?"

"My class is waiting so we have to go now."

"Okay."

We walked down the hall and as we got closer and closer, the louder and louder it got. We got to the classroom and Ms. Aries stopped. "Please wait out here, Mr. Dragneel."

"I will."

I heard her walk in and it got quiet. She talked to the class and told me to come in. I slowly walked into the classroom and then I heard my name. I looked up and saw the girl that I've been thinking about all weekend sitting in front of me.

*gasp* Lucy and Natsu meet at school what will happen next?

The chapter was kind of a filler chapter but chapter 5 will be better and juicier.
